This is ONE thing we NEEDED to try once we got a hold of Wizarf Fafnir. The parts are pretty awesome!! I got myself a special guest helper behind the camera in this video since Brendan is in Japan (yes, we're all jealous) 😄
I've noticed that the secret to getting it to work is actually the Ratchet disc. Notice how the beys make contact with the layer in the beginning to no effect, but as soon as they touch the disc, Fafnir starts to spin up, and the layer does the rest of the work.

I was watching you epic video and i noticed that if fafinir top is pointing towards the opponent bey it will not drain it spin power and it will only drain if the tip is showing and pointing towards the opponent bey. The reason why Fumiya is the new Fafnir user i think because on Turbo Fafnir got destroyed by Pheonix making Free feel like he doesnt deserve to have Fafnir so he give Fafnir to someone that he think can do better which is Fumiya.Just my theory though...

I have a theory, every left spin bey is a descendant of dragoon, you see, most left spin beys are a dragon type, like dragoon, and all of them spin the same way.
basically for the rachet disc, when fafnir is up against a left-spin bey, the disc can almost completely nullify attacks. Against right-spin beys, it has barely any give and locks so it can steal spin effectively.
How in the world are they better, lmao do you even test them out??? Geist fafnir is the most disappointing beyblade ever released. Even with high tier parts it sucked so much. Drain fafnir isn't as good as wizard, because of the amount of rubber it has.

Plus the beyblade is a stamina type, not a steal spinning type. It doesnt need a lot of rubber because that makes it pretty unbalanced. The spin steal from death gimmick obviously works best if either Fafnir has enough contact against the opposing bey or it's hit with enough force from the opposing bey. So switching to a stamina driver makes sense since it would stay in the center. As for an attack type driver, you would need to have the opposing bey consistently maintain the flower pattern instead of running circles around Fafnir. Not sure how defense would work.
The Rise driver on Wizard Fafnir is basically a worse version of Guard. Kinda funny cause Guard comes on Blast Jinnius, which is owned by Joshua, who was one of Free's greatest rivals in God. Rip that Fumiya took Free's place ;-; I still like Fumiya's character either way though.
You guys make it seem so easy for it to spin steal, I can launch an attack type or a stamina type bey at it all day long but it would never steal spin while it's not moving

Can you combine Meteo L Drago’s energy ring with L Drago Destroy’s fusion wheel in absorb mode and LW105LF or 145WD and see how well it steals spin
