The 5 train is one of the few trains that run on rails that are ground level
Doesnt technically every train thats elevated run on ground level for a short amount of time before they go underground

Why did they switch the 4, 5, and 6 Jessica’s Voice (The Next Stop Is) into the 1, 2, and 3 Dianne’s Voice?
Probably Jessica’s voice thing is broken.
im assuming the hard drives on the R142/A's are running out of space... they did the same with the R143 and R160 units too, changing catherine's voice to kathleen's for the next stop, this is, and last stop announcements. its honestly kind of annoying..
@@RaphTheUnknown I really think it’s better if they separate Dianne’s announcements on the 2 Trains and Jessica’s announcements on the 4 and 5 Trains instead of mixing announcements together. Also, the 2 and 5 Trains merge together in Brooklyn and The Bronx. The Station announcements are made by Dianne on the 2 and 5 Trains plus the Nereid Ave 5 Trains. I don’t even know why they changed that.
@@sebastienroland349 i agree, it sounds really messy and inconsistent by mixing up the announcements. i kinda feel like each line was given its own voice to have personality, but that doesnt seem to be the case anymore, if that even makes sense.
@@RaphTheUnknown I’d say it’s messed up that Dianne stole some of Jessica’s announcements on the Lexington Avenue Line. It would be better if Dianne stayed with the 7th Avenue Line and Jessica stays with the Lexington Avenue Line. Also, Charlie Pellett and Velina Mitchell are both fine with their announcements.

It wouldn't be so bad if it was kept clean the graffiti is kind of cool. Watching this what I remember is the awful stench of urine even back in 1961-63, from 23rd Street to Flatbush Ave..Wow shame on the Metropolitan Transit Authority. I also remember these tunnels were great for Do Op groups to sing in.

Allegedly the mta accidentally deleted the (4) (5) (6) “this is” and “next stop is” sound file so they replaced it with the (2)

Listen get used to the R62as on the Pelham line because pretty soon you are gonna definitely see the brand new R262s R142/as back on the Pelham line enjoy the R62as on the 6 line now while they are here
