  • In this video, I'm going to provide an honest assessment and review of Skool.com after 2 months on the platform.

Update: After 3 months, I decided to temporarily close my Skool Community. Although it's a great opportunity to bring together like-minded people, I was finding the constant monitoring, replying to questions and updating content challenging. I am trying to create an autonomous business model and therefore I made the difficult decision to close down my Skool community. I may decide to go back, but for the moment, my preference is for a course platform to host my courses. Just my thoughts, but wish you every success if you choose Skool because there are thousands of communities doing exceptionally well!
I currently use Thinkific to host my courses and have found it to be more aligned with my business model and for the same monthly price.
If you want more info, you can view Thinkific here: try.thinkific....
I also have a free 2 hour training course on Thinkific if you wanted to compare both platforms: publishing-acc...

You could on Facebook and also on Discord but it's the added features on Skool that provide the best user experience.

Thank you for your information. Would you recommend I create lots of content first, before I proceed with Skool?

Hello Romney, what platform do you recommend to train many students worldwide?

I'd choose Thinkific if you want more control over pricing and being able to collect the email address of your students: try.thinkific.com/RomneyOMF
I'd choose Udemy if you want greater reach and haven't got the time to market your courses. Udemy have control over your pricing though.

So confused, does this guy not expect to work for his money, that's the whole part of having a community

That's so far from what this video is about Dan. Yes, you can build a community and earn money that way but there are millions of other ways too. I've built a YT channel with 25K+ subs, published 350 books, am a best selling course instructor on Udemy so yep, I understand what hard work involves. Building assets that work 24hrs is my business model rather than being a slave to creating an income where you 'Work for Your Money'. You need to build assets where they work for you!
