What you say at 2:00,is EXACTLY why I push myself to do the supper dishes every night and clean up the kitchen no matter how exhausted I am, because the reward in the morning is worth it,EVERY SINGLE DAY!🙌🏻

I don’t know about your area,but I always reserve a large or “hard to break down” box or two to put all the flattened boxes as we go. I put them next to the recycle bins on trash day and they always take the whole pile.

I know for me running my dishwasher every night and unloading it first thing in the am helps. Everything as your cooking after meals goes directly in it. No dishes in sink. Also keeping a hamper that ALL laundry goes in and doing 1 load a day even if its just 2 outfits and a towl wash it! Getting on a routine is the hardest part.
I do that also. I keep Tide liquid soap for the small loads, and it doesn't fade your clothes. I keep the Tide pods with oxy for all the regular full loads. Even if you just wash sheets or a blanket your keeping everything fresh. Especially if you have 2 American Eskimo hairy dogs who sleep in your bed and cuddle on the couch. 🐶
Fantastic declutter motivation video 😇 When I've seen you tackling the recycle mountain I was hoping you'll also have trash to toss as well as it's even more satisfying to watch as it's more random items than just carboard and it's also often much harder to declutter as I feel more bad throwing things away than recycling or giving away things. So I was happy that you've had a full bag to fill too 😁
First thing… YAY, that back porch looked amazing and didn’t take long to be swept up.
I have a cardboard mountain as well, mine tends to live in my kitchen/back door area 😳

Love e your channel. And your home. Your work so hard. I never see your kids help with chores. They could help you in the garage. Flatten boxes . And he;p you tidy up and organize. That way you can have help and you are teaching them. At the same time.

I am trying to be nice but I don’t understand this clutter. I remember about 35 years ago I saw my friends finished basement…….I thought I would have a heart attack. Shock !!!!!! Upstairs was actually full too. ( she had every kitchen gadget) BUY! BUY! BUY! I hope things get better for you because you have a very nice house…..you are very fortunate.☮️☮️☮️

I don’t have a dishwasher,but I’ve heard that the dishes need to a little bit on them(definitely rinsed well though) for the detergent to do its job. Is that really a thing? (When I took care of my parents and we shared a duplex, I always washed all of my yard sale finds in their dishwasher because I figured between the HOT water and the bleach in the detergent,the items were getting more sterilized than I could do by hand,I never would have thought that I needed to scrub each piece like you are doing.) Have you ever tried to just rinse and let it do its thing and check the results? They say that the detergents have come a long way.🤷🏼♀️(just a thought)🥰
I have considered it. I just really can’t seem to move past the idea that they aren’t clean. Maybe if I was better at rinsing immediately I totally would be able to, but these dishes have been sitting anywhere from 1-4 days. I have been trying to get all of us to rinse as we use but it’s such a hard thing for me to actually actually do. I can’t explain it. I know better but I just fine seem to DO better. You know?
@@feraltradwife 👍I always have a dishpan full of hot,soapy water,so that when I do get to them,I just dump the old water and wash everything quickly,no scrubbing. I think everyone just wants to make things easier for you because you have so much on your plate.🥰

We do but it’s one bun every two weeks and we create quite a bit with cans and milk jugs etc that I reserve the huge boxes for me to just haul in eventually
Washing your dishes and hot soapy water before putting them in the dishwasher does not make them cleaner. The detergent actually doesn’t work as well when there’s nothing for it to grab onto in the dishwasher.
Yes but can you tell that to my crazy side? Because she just will not listen to reason.

YOUR HUSBAND ,ever been checked for lime disease? So many symtoms and alot times you get tested it says negative ,but you discover later you have it

I don’t think you’d be so “overwhelmed “ if you broke it down into smaller tasks over the next few days. Back porch doesn’t HAVE to be done the same day as an orthodontist spot and a homeschool meeting.
I agree but it’s what I had planned for the day. Holding myself accountable for what I promised myself isn’t a bad think. Plus the back porch took just a few moments. Really all the last part took was just over an hour and was well appreciated by me when all was said and done! ☺️

Could you put a large puzzle table in your screened in porch and keep your cats out?
Ohhhh it’s so so hot and muggy out. It would be terrible to spend hours doing it to be honest.
@@feraltradwife I didn’t think about that,forgot that you said you were in Georgia. Well,I’ve done a 2000 piece puzzle once in my life and definitely couldn’t have dealt with someone undoing it constantly,maybe save it for the fall on the porch.🤣😅😂
