    Hey first of all thank you for all your videos. They are amazing. I have a question about the FSP. For example, if i pick up my diploma today and contact the ärztekammer and ask for an fsp appointment; approximately when will I receive on? I heard 2,3,4,5 months. So which one is the most accurate one? Thank you in advance.

    May I ask, what was it like studying for FSP but not practicing any medicine? Or did you do something to keep your medical knowledge fresh?
    Thanks

      It was hell on earth. The medical knowledge is lost over time if not reviewed and there is not a lot one can do about it. Just prepare harder for the damn exam and be done with it :D

    How long did it take for you from the time you started to learn german to finishing the C1? and did you do a C1 course before the Fachsprachprüfung? I heard that it's not necessary to do the C1, is that true? I myself just finished the B2, but there aren't many C1 courses available in Hamburg (where im living now), probably due to the pandemic. Anyways, Great videos! und bleib gesund!

      I never did a C1 Course. I also heard they are very useful but It depends on your commitment and how much you study of course. I will make a video about that soon.

    • @EutopianDoctor
      @EutopianDoctor  3 роки тому +6

      I personally regret doing courses I wasn't interested in in order to improve my CV. If I were to go back in time, instead of doing courses I would do practicals in the specialties where I want to work. Experience is well valued.

    Thank you very much for your helpful video. I would like to ask you whether the email showing the application for a job in Germany (more specifically in the District or Land where I want to send my Approbation) is enough to prove that I have the intention to work in the same area. In order for my application to be processed, is it necessary to pay a fee before sending my application or do I receive the instructions for the payment after my application is sent?

    • @EutopianDoctor
      @EutopianDoctor  2 роки тому

      Yeah its difficult to prove that you are applying other than showing that you sent some email and a copy of a motivational letter that you sent hospitals.
      When it comes to the processing of your papers I believe that you could send the papers first and then you were told to pay... Im not so sure right now though. But for sure there will be an email contact who you can ask directly.

    First of all thank you for your videos ;) They are very helpful especially for beginners like me who have just started their road to Germany :)
    I had a question...
    I saw the list of documents required to apply for approbation and on requirement was to have an evidence to substantiate the intended employment in that specific Land (e.g. confirmation of employment, employment contract or confirmation of
    interviews at institutions). I have applied in various hospitals in Brandenburg (because my wife works there as dentist assistant) and all of them have refused my application due to lack of requirement etc.
    Is it possible to continue the application without having a confirmation of employment/interview or employment contract?
    Is there another way to to substantiate the intended employment in a specific Land???

    • @EutopianDoctor
      @EutopianDoctor  Рік тому +1

      Hello there :D
      Intended employment does not mean ensured or confirmed employment :D They want some proof that you will try to find a job.
      Normally having a motivation letter (which you are supposed to sent to the hospitals) is enough "proof" that you are looking for a job.

    Hallo! Ihren Videos sind sehr hilfreich! Aber jetzt habe ich eine Frage. Haben Sie als Arzt in ihrem Heimat gearbeitet? Jetzt habe ich meine Stelle gekündigt, um Deutsch intensiv zu lernen, und mache mir Sorgen, weil ich weiß nicht, ob ich eine besondere Bescheinigung brauche. Die heiß auf Spanisch : "Certificado de continuidad laboral".
    Ich habe seit 3 Jahren meine Medizinstudium beendet, danach habe ich 2 Jahre gearbeitet, aber jetzt bin ich arbeitlos. Hat Ihnen die Regierung etwas ähnliches erfordern? Vielen Dank im voraus und sorry, weil meine Deutsch noch nicht sehr gut ist.

    • @EutopianDoctor
      @EutopianDoctor  3 роки тому

      It's a letter issued by the ministry of health of the country where you worked/graduated that claims that you haven't committed any medical crime / malpractice and that you are allowed to work as a doctor.
      In order to work in Germany all doctors are required to present that letter

    Hi! This is gold, thank you so much! Unfortunately, I only have an A2 level so I can't contact the Regierung yet (I imagine they don't appreciate emails written in English), but I wonder if it's possible to send all my documents from another country until I have an official date for the FSP? In that case, do you know how I can get a "beglaubigter Kopie" if I'm not in Germany?
    (meanwhile, I continue studying Deutsch ofc)

    • @EutopianDoctor
      @EutopianDoctor  3 роки тому +5

      Hello there! I wouldn't send anything before having a B2. Even if they open your file, the clock starts ticking and if after some months you don't complete all documents they might close it and you will have wasted some time and money.
      When you finally have your B2 and it's time to translate the documents and send them, you can of course do it from your home country. There are few translators allowed to do these "beglaubigte Kopien" the ministery of external affairs of your country should have a published list with all translators that are officially recognised between germany and your country. The list should include email and address.
      Best of luck in the german-learning journey!

      @EutopianDoctor  3 роки тому +1

      If you have doubts if your diploma will be recognized, asking per email wouldnt be a bad idea.
      When it comes to the letter of malpractice, it is assumed that in your last year studying medicine (the practial year) you had contact with patients and that's why the letter is also required for people with no working experience.
