Unfortunately, Albion's 2023/24 campaign came to an end on the south coast. All goals came after the break, with Will Smallbone firing in the opener before a brace from Adam Armstrong confirmed the Saints' progression to the final.
Cedric Kipre's goal in stoppage time proved no more than a consolation for the Baggies on the night.

Diangana's error for the first goal has been a factor with Albion all season. Not just him. but throughout the team we have been giving the ball away carelessly when under no pressure. That plus having no natural striker for essentially the whole season has meant that we actually overachieved. All things considered it has been a good season. The fun starts now with a new owner and a rebuild of the squad. Lets see what happens.

Should have got goals in the first game you can't take 0.0 into 2nd leg

Championship had 4 very good teams and Baggies ended up the best of the rest. Corboran deserves a lot of praise for getting a sub par squad to perform as well as they did. Hopefully the new owners can invest a bit and allow some much needed squad development. Next season's Championship could be a little weaker with Burnley, Blades and Luton added. A reliablr striker is a must. My only worry is CC thinking he's taken the club as far as he can similar to his exit at Huddersfield..

Diangana was a dead man walking, anybody saying otherwise is not watching week in week out...

Diang is not the player he was in the early days of Slaven Bilic. Only he knows why he isn't performing & what a pity Weizmann couldn't get off the blocks.

I ♡Albion♡ -Past owner took about £10M in loans & kept £35M from Perriera sale to Saudi. So Carlos C had peanuts cash to spend in 3 windows. Cud not even get 1 of LFC 10 Kop kids to WBA.
Albion over achieved hugely. Baggies are proud of Albion & will win FA Cup & promotion double next May 2025 as Shillen Patel will pump in lots of transfer money & bring in stars & give the boss CC new contract 1 yr extension.
Dike - Maja - Diangana - Phillips must be sent out on season long loans to get fit. Grady just did not look fit & that led to bad pass that lost the game.

That penalty was an absolute joke. No one touched him and he threw himself down immediately after touching the ball. These refs are really poor sometimes to buy this shit.
