@@brianpavelchak9362 the one I'm talking about is from a small comic from either a DVD or a toy and it shows them combining in like a forced combination with optimus telling grimlok not to and they turn into a sort of abomination
Dino King is from transformers victory. They were a decepticon combiner that was made up by 6 decepticons that were bonded or something to real dinosaurs and played the role of comedy relief. I have transformers victory on DVD as well as headmasters and super god masterforce, all three are Japanese exclusive series, but have very good English subtitles.
@@mitchellhaberkorn89I know, but I mean by saying that Volcanicus isn't the first Dinosaur-based combiner. Before this you first had Dinoking out, indeed, Transformers Victory. It was also a dinosaur based combiner, although it is a Decepticon. And later you got Brimstone, who was also a Combiner and had minicons that are also based on dinosaurs.
In other words I was not referring to the faction but to the theme.
I like the music
Cool.
Hmmm nice wings swoop
These figures look fantastic. The only complaints I have is the apparent difficulty of clearance sometimes with the transformations... and the stickers. (Maybe I've been watching too many JobbytheHong videos.) But other than that, they all look great, the transformations look engaging without being *too* frustrating, and of course Volcanicus himself looks fantastic, especially with the upgrade kit parts. All in all, 9.7 out of 10, will absolutely be looking to add these figures to my collection. Thank you for taking the time to show them to us.
So I'm not missing pieces? I just don't have the upgrade kit?
@@AnnoyingNewslettersPage6 That's right, the upgrade kit comes with additional armor for Volcanicus and weapons for both the combined figure and the individual ones, as well as stylized feet and hands.
This is the EXACT yt channel everyone has watched as a child
That looks so freaking badass
Love this combiner with upgrades
I still have all the originals from the 80s
Me too every one of them and mint condition. With everything that came with them the only dumb thing I did was take them out of the box and laminate the power chart off the box. I have every one of them made that are the g ones anyway. But they weren't called g1 back then they were actually mostly metal
@bjetnt... die cast construction. A lost art.... lol
@@brooklynzuu1821 yeah you got that right my friend. I will admit though this combiner is really cool it's kind of like a lifelong thing that I wanted to see. Still never seen cooler toys and transformers. I was looking forward to giving all mine to my son but I never had children unfortunately so I guess I'm just going to have myself buried with them lol thanks for the comment stay safe my friend
BJETNT I cant take the credit for that statement although it’s true. It was one of the best lines I heard from Beast Wars when the maximals found the Autobot ark. You stay safe as well.
Exelente video amigo
So basically one of the most powerful transformers ever and one of the most powerful teams aside from big ass transformers
The Dinobots in their regular dinosaur forms would be enough to beat combiner Transformers if they knew how to attack either all at once or strategize. Unfortunately, each time they attack someone like Devastator, they do it one at a time.
They r most powerful but they're activities r like 10😂 years child
I think I have a different Volcanicus, but both are Disasters to put Together, but really cool none-the-less.
Wish that the combiner kit was cheaper. That upgrade kit goes for 50 and up and it’s just little plastic pieces. I think 25 dollars is a more reasonable price.
I have Grimlock and Slug.
I remember owning Swoop and Slug, except I lost Swoop and the combiner hands and realised that Slug and Swoop are the arms of Volcanicus
They’re scramble city style, you can technically put any of them in any combination. Even add others from the other sets. But I’m pretty sure I have swoop and slug as arms...
Honestly this video surprised me, I have Gen1, Slag and Grimlock, never imagined that I would see a combiner with my favorite transformers!
You mean Slag?
Awesome toys
I came up with my nicknames for the dinobots
Grimlock: fire jaw
Strafe/ swoop: I just call him swoop for now
Scorn: spike
Slug/slag: I just go by slag for now
Slog/sludge: I just call him sludge for now
Slash:claw
Snarl: I just call him snarl for now
Grimlock: Big G
Grimlock: Dino Gramps. I mean, Cybertronians are millennia older than Earthlings.
So cool
Just play at speed 2x and enjoy the music,
I knew the Dinobots had another form but they never included this form in the original cartoon series wow!!
Respect for having the upgrade kits on
My all time favorite team in Transformers. Although this was a wish come true and I know it took a lot of work to get them were they are I can't help but feel underwhelmed. Looks cooler in the Transformers Earthwars game. I'd really love it if Hasbro or Takara could make a beast of a bot without the need of third party add ons.
Maybe it's the lack of the chrome finish the originals had. Hmm...
I get ya....I got Bruticus and he is ok....but Volcanicus looks like a crack head with out the extra add ons.....I need to get those bits for both my bots.....
Man that is badass!!!
They should never have been a combiner but released as leader class figures all standing head and shoulders above Prime and Megatron like they did in G1
That would be great figure but would Non combiner Volcanicus Transform into some sort of Godzilla form
Cooolll!!!
Still wish the merged form was called extinction
I did a schematic for this when I was a kid in 1990 I always thought the dinobots should have been a combiner they would have been huge in their original size. For the life of me I can't remember the name I gave him. He would have been about twice the size of devastator. Those were the good old days when toys were as cool as they could get. I got to admit though they've done some pretty cool things with the new transformers. Just the fact that they can make the robots look exactly like they did on TV and transform into exactly like they did on TV is absolutely amazing. And that kind of engineering went into a toy.
Nothing can stop The DEVASTATOR....DinoBot form EXTINCTION!!!

I remember the originals dinobots from 80s are very fragile plastic and the pieces getting lose with the time hard to find complete original dinobots today
MrCheko2040 Fragile plastic? I had one when I was little that was mostly comprised of die cast metal
Really its not half part of plastic and some parts of metal almost all my dinobots have lose parts and the bolt unions are so lose most at the pterodactyl dat one is a mess
@@gaukaiser I think he is talking about the dreaded Gold Plastic Syndrome, it affected all kind of old figures and not only the gold ones:
tfwiki.net/wiki/Gold_Plastic_Syndrome
I'm weird I still have all five of the originals in mint condition because I was a weird child. I collected them I didn't really play with them that much I knew they would be worth money one of these days. But unfortunately I ain't selling for nothing I was going to give them to my son but unfortunately I don't have any children.. I guess I'm going to be buried with him
I like that toy
oof.. all those extra peices needed...
Raine OShae They look like 3rd party addons, it’s not needed, but it makes the final result look WAY better
Simply....... Its Just beautiful..
looking at just this first bot and all the steps required to transform it then the sad depression of looking at todays transformers and seeing something this size be 2-3 steps to change
These toys look amazingly detailed.
Kibble! Especially Grimlock's tail. I still love all of them tho.

What is that soothing guitar music?
maaan, idgaf if it's the original toys or not!! Been wanting this for 30+(shid, almost 40 now🤔🤷🏾♂️😂) years! thanks so much 4 this!🙌🏾💪🏾

Then you should check the 3rd party Dinobots, Fanstoys or Gigapower. They made some of the best Masterpiece scaled Dinobots. They're not official Transformers toys but people love them.
@@lanoche thnx!
@@toddjordan2376 Yeah lol I personally have 3/5 Fanstoys Dinobots. I got late into the party and hoping that Fanstoys reissue the last 2 I am missing. They are actually displayed on top of my computer shelf so I can stare at them every day when taking a break from working.
