Honestly Paul I feel like boar and natural hair brushes in general feel much much better on my face than synths. You can't beat the feeling of natural hair. The solution to them hogging lather is to simply add more soap, so it's not a big deal. I also lather in a bowl so there's always lather to go back to if the brush absorbs it.
Good morning Paul and Mrs H. Lovely flowers this morning. And very nice shave. The simple shaves are nice. My sotd was using the very first razor i purchased when i got into this way of shaving. A vander hagen tto. Very inexpensive razor but nice. And proraso red soap after shave and balm. Which was also one of the first products i used. Its not one of these fancy artisan soaps, but you still cant go wrong with proraso. Have a great rest of the week 👍
Thnx Paul. Good demonstration on products. Just broke out the last of my UK Wilkie blades. Very nice 😊 #3 use they are getting tired. I’m glad you still maintain your stamina , for your regular shave & chat. The best
Good shave Paul, about 10 years ago Wilkinson sword brought out a shave cream to match there hydro 3 and 5 razors, it was in a blue and white container like the new barber style one, it never worked well with a brush, especially with that Wilkinson sword brush which I think is boar, I bought the new version which is synthetic and that cream works better with it, even though I don’t think it’s designed for brushes, more to rub into the skin with your hands and then shave, the brush supposedly works better with the shaving soap in the plastic tub, still a good soap though 👍😊
Hi Paul! Great shave, if this shaving cream comes to me in Croatia I will take it! The Flowers are a wonderful composition! Thanks Lowri it's a balm for the eyes! Have both a great week!

Nicely done Paul🪒🪒 Simple but sensational shave, always a nice experience. Mrs H does it again, beautiful and bountiful display of flowers today, thanks. SOTD: Razor Emporium Barbershop soap/splash, Blackland ERA razor w/Personna Red blade, Fine synth brush, alum, witch hazel and Nivea balm to end...Super. Great video and results, thanks. Enjoy!
If I may answer it's 7/10, so good enough, but it's just mine opinion. It's an upper mild/medium aggressive razor, more aggressive than popular King C.Gillette (I prefer this one but with a shorter handle from Merkur 42C). Using Wilkinson Classic Premium/the Edger (a new name- they are the same- I've got them- no difference) I have to be more careful in a jaw line edges- it can give me a razor burn there. But being careful it's good enough. After some time of using it I had a problem with it's "doors" to open but a couple of opening and closing moves with a handle solved the problem. It looks somehow cheaper than King C.Gillette, it rattles a bit (the Edger, not such an issue with a one under the older name) but the blade stays firmly. So, again good enough.
I've been away from the channel for too long. Paul, great video. You taught me the art of DE shaving.😀👍

Great feedback Paul, lovely arrangement- how I wish Wilkerson sword would put together all the materials as a gift package, for Christmas of course.

Nice job Paul 🎉 great as always, damn I wish Wilkinson kept pushing this razor as much as they do the old one "classic (black)"

Is that razor really good?
