With all that we have in today’s time for entertainment, this reading - incredibly - kept the listener enthralled, and while no slasher story, it was quite (and deliciously) horrifying.

When I was nine we had a supply teacher for our class for a week. His name was Mr. Renton-Gordon. He dressed in tweeds & looked as if he was ex Indian army. He wore pince nez & had two canes to dish out punishment; called Samson & Delilah. He read us this story over three days & I was enthralled & terrified. It still scares me to this day. Total peach 🍑
