The reason your threads are so horrible is because that die is only for restoring bunged up threads. It isn't made for cutting them. I get it that is was good enough for the job at hand. The tools to buy for cutting threads buy OSG taps and dies. For thread forming threads buy BALAX. Use a good gutting oil.
You can tell this person knows little to nothing about fishing. He must stay awake at night figuring out how to do this stuff. For instants his spool here, no fisherman will load his spool that much because the line would keep flying off of it causing tangles and he couldn’t sit it down because it would do the same thing, come flying off full of kinks and nots. Sometimes i stay around just to see what he’s thought of new.
