That did super well clambering up Jackass Hill. It is a real challenge for moded vehicles, this Navara is straight off the dealership showroom floor, amazing effort.
Good video with a little decent off road drive. I'm a dmax fan boy, but think it would be good if all manufacturers gave you the option for AT tyres from the dealer at no extra cost. It's always the first thing to go in the bin and such a waste of money, not to mention the environmental impact of binning five tyres for no good reason.
They do AT tyres from the dealer at no cost. You tell them you’ll buy it only if they put ATs on (the ones you want). If they refuse, you walk. They soon do it. But your bin comment is rubbish. No one bins brand new tyres unless they are stupid. You’d sell them. Only a fool would literally throw them out.
Great review ,like listening to you guys on radio 5AA Adelaide. Looking at getting our first four-wheel drive this this week. 2022 Nissan Navara SL warrior, Mazda BT50 XTR LE or Mitsubishi Triton GLS. My head is starting to hurt reading so many reviews and watching all your videos. Cheers. I think the Nissan is value for money. As in accessories, the Triton feels amazing in manual and auto. The Mazda looks great and drives great. What do we get. Never spent this much on a car before. Thanks
Last 4wd I bought was a bt50 xt with equivalent modifications but closer to $50k all in. I think a base hilux or dmax plus mods would still win for me but great to see Nissan give it a crack to move along some old stock.
Great video mate and I am thinking of buying a warrior or Hilux rouge the newest changes to the rouge seem to be almost exactly what I was planning to do with after market parts but I don’t think legally I could have achieved the width increase particularly on the rouge it seems much fatter now , so perhaps a head to head spec to spec comparison of the warrior vs rouge video will help , when you can get your hand on them at the same time
You're not wrong about the auto off-road. The nanny-state programming that doesn't let you select the gear you want has clearly been designed by someone who's never driven off road. shame really, as in all other respects, I really like them and think this version is quite tempting. Thanks for the video.
That’s where paddle shifters are great as you can manually control the gears off-road (or on-road [super handy downshifting]) without taking your hands off the wheel or eyes off the track/road.
Excellent review Finally rubber floor mats Wheels tyre suspension setup straight off the floor will sell well Only question I have is that bull bar winch compatible if not it is it’s only let down
When is an all new model of Navara getting released ? The Renault / Nissan / Mits alliance should have an all new Ute coming soon ? This SL Warrior is a good thing. It’s a great package, that u can then add to, to suit your specific requirements. However, they should have fitted LED headlights, and a Leather Steering Wheel as standard ! And not fitting the under body bash plate to protect the Sump and Gearbox, seems a bit silly. 🤷🏻♂️

Good to see a decent off road test for a jurno car review.

You reckon a base DMax can be kitted out like for like with the SL warrior for 60k today?

Pity that the 5 star rating about to come to an end on January 1.
Hopefully the price will come down as a result.
Here in Middle East we are not getting North American Nissan frontier like 4x etc. sad
Except for the bloated price it's a good buy... The SL was always the better buy.
I like it
Nice UTE
Dang the interior looks super cheap and nasty.
And Halogen headlights are bollocks for 2023.
GWM Cannon X, 2" Lift, 32" Maxxisd Razor and wider offset rims, $51k on the road, just sayin
You said it all,on the road.Off road it's absolute crap.Good shopping trolley only.
@@leonwakefield7285 no issues for me, same system as every other 4WD (expert off road mode, and diff locks 🤷🏻♂️)
However you are buying a worse shitbox than this one if that’s possible with the gwm🤮
Looks like it was made in 2014...
SERIOUSLY. N I S S A N
Dragging the heap now for parts
Harmony of cheapest parts
Yeh Nah.
