I have not seen research that "phthalates are everywhere"... Mostly I have found they are used in PVC (plastic number 3). Stop trying to scare people and give them relevant information! Plastic wrap is made from PVC though, I did learn that from this video. But because you didn't explicitly say that, I had to look it up.
