It seems like those of us who were sincere in the church system are the ones that left and deconstructed. Most of the people i met in the church systems were insincere, hypocritical, and yet highly judgemental of others

Your channel is the first one that taught me about RTS. In my country it´s not even known as a term/diagnosis. An eye opener. I wasn't just a devout christian, I was a pastor. Ater leaving (which took some time) it took me a very long time to heal (there was no support whatsoever) and some things will always be sensitive. The human spirit is so much more than religion. Religion was important because it's one of the first step to know whose God we should be dealing with. God also commanded to keep His Church always in everyone's watch. So if one sinned, the rest must support and be a brother's keeper. The Church isn't matured yet like a pregnant woman so everyone must keep learning and gathering and endure the world until the 2nd coming. It's written the only thing that makes you guilty is your sin, it happens when you didn't fully abandoned it. Don't lose your soul over wrong view and antichrist teachings.

Even those hypocrites that say I follow the science, when in reality probably over 90% of their life choices are made by their feelings. That is why our society needs to become like China, sot of like the democrat party in the great USofA,
where everyone has to think the same way or oh boy we'll get the thought police after you, we'll cancel you, we'll

Milions of people were/are brainwashed, i was one of them, and luckily i had the same doubts- how loving god- like father- would hurt his children, especialy i remember- those who believed in another god, also would go to hell, and i just knew it didnt make sense, it took me a long time, but i freed myself, and found peace. But what you are doing is so needed, i really appretiate it. I remember when the famous Jane “Nightbirde” Marczewski from ‘America’s Got Talent’ was dying, i sent her a message about Dr Joe Dispenza, who teaches people how to heal cancer, and more, and i healed myself from my health issues, and its wasnt even a miracle, its all science...but Jane, her family were not interested in any other option but only trusting god,and Jesus was supposedto save her. Im not saying one bad word about this beautiful singer, and her family, im pointing only to how much damage religions( not all of them probably) do.

I was raised deeply Christian conservative, as well. I remember pondering whether or not I’m the only conscious human as a child. I have no idea how I came up with such a profound question but I kept questioning throughout my life. These days I’m a strong proponent of non-duality. Life has blossomed for me because of the realization of my true nature. Everyone is supposed to do this. Religion needs to be dropped because it only causes conflict. Non-duality can be seen as fact when you actually look inside yourself. You actually see the living Truth.

I left Christianity too. I grew up from a Catholic family, and went Sunday school learning the church teachings. But since I was 18 years I ended up in Europe for work and it took me almost 10 years. That whole time I got a chance to met people from all walks of life. Especially from Israel , different beliefs. Muslims, Buddhism and etc..but I still can't get the fact that is all different in many ways. So I questions every beliefs and found out that no one is certain in their own ways..so I did a few researches and concluded that I still believe that there's a creator but I will never believe in religion and how it all unfold around the world...Religion to me is just the same as a business and it is all about Control and power to control people with limit access to knowledge and wealth...
So now I'm a free person from Religion and Christianity.

I can vividly remember the crushing pressure of the first time I was told as a kid that I wasn't good enough. It was at a Vacation Bible School I begged to go to with my friend. My mom had already been through religious abuse so she said no at first but it sounded so fun. It was made just for kids and there would be people there. I was an only child who lived in the country. We spent a lot of our time away from home so that we could be around people.
The pastor had the older kids stay behind. I was somewhere between 7 and 9. The theme was the Good News Corral or something Western with a name close to that. He told us about two roads that we had to choose right now. If we wanted to go down the road that led to Heaven or Hell. If we decided to get saved you went up in front of everyone and repeated the sinners prayer. I was sick at my stomach and so torn between preserving my dignity and avoiding hell. I ended up staying in my seat that time but I teared up. I was absolutely horrified. Then in my second year of high school when life was finally working out for me. I was scared into a more strict sect of Christianity by a message so scary it made the first experience with Christianity look like a kitten.

It’s unfortunate that religious communities aren’t infiltrated by theologians who bring logic and reason into their communities. Many churches have done a lot of good and charitable work but it comes at the cost of mind control, to children at a young age that interfere with their ability to make rational decisions. They carry that with them into adulthood. That’s why we have people watching tic toc and that’s causing adult illiteracy. We need more more philosophers and anthropologists. People who can read 300 pages of a book before they go to bed. I read contracts, know alot about contract law and even legal books are written and structured like the Bible. Reading a bible can prepare you for legal research. But it seems like people are becoming more illiterate. So, all I really wanna say is if you read a book like “the secrets of mental math”, it will teach you to be a better problem solver. If you read a book like “a concise introduction to logic” it will help you become better at proving a point or getting us closer to what’s true. The miracles may exist in the next life or in this life depending on the way you define “miracle”. I think people themselves are miracles. To quote Shakespeare ~ “What a piece of worke is a man! How Noble in reason! How infinite in faculty! In forme and mouing
how expresse and admirable! In Action, how like an Angel in apprehension, how like a God!
The beauty of the world, the paragon of animals-and yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust?
Man delights not me- nor woman neither, though by your smiling you seem to say so.’’ 17:00

My friend, the problem is much deeper:
1 What kind of a demand is it to have to accept Jesus as a god, when he just appeared one time, only to a few people, telling them he is the only true god? And that 295k years after we humans came up and in a very small area while the rest of the Earth was already full of people? Around 55 billion people never had even the chance to know him. Till today 2/3 of the world population isnt following him as they were socialized in other religions and they wont betray their gods for a "god" that didnt even talk to their folk.
      2 A good god?
There is huge animal suffering and struggle for survive every single day.
Of course thats not because of human “sin” or human “free will”:
Animals existed millions of years before humans came up.
If god created those animals, they suffered and suffer because of him.
3 The strikt anti-scientific postion of the abrahamic religions agaisnt homosexuality , a natural heathy born orientation with an evolutionary meaning, is no longer acceptable.
This are only 3 of the more profound reasons why people leave Christianity (and hopefully also Islam).
As a Deist myself I send you a lot human love :)

Logic is the way to The Truth.
The biggest lie is that both sides (religious & nonreligious) are both right & wrong. Choose the middle road and be free. Rather than choosing trying to disprove another's beliefs instead try to prove them right, this is the way to the truth for either side of the argument. Follow logic and you will walk in god's footsteps. Do not view time as a linear construct, time only exists in that form from our perspective stuck in a mortal body/single dimension.
When you come to the conclusion that all is of one mind, one body, and one spirit... being good/well intentioned to yourselves (and each other) is the only sensible choice. Remember who you are.
Darkness itself could not exist without light to cast a shadow, light requires nothing to exist and so light precedes darkness. Light always was, always is, and always will be.
God does not require worship, god requires nothing. Anything claiming the contrary is a falsehood only designed to lead you into darkness. I wish I could be less ambiguous but most are not ready to receive the plain and simple truth. Perfect understanding will cast out all hatred, anger, and malice from your hearts.

So, the test for religious truth is comprehensiveness and internal consistency. It's up to you as what to believe. It was Bible schools and things like that for me growing up and I completely understand where you're coming from and I am 100% agree with everything that you're saying right now because it just I don't know some of it doesn't make sense and it didn't for a long time for me and I'm really glad that I have someone like you to listen to and do the research that you do I listen to your videos daily and it's something that has become part of my life and I also look into a lot of the same things that you do research on and no I'm not that fast in it I am just a beginner but I have feel like one time I thought what is wrong with this religion like maybe there is religion that makes sense maybe there's something more to this maybe I'm getting it wrong is there something that I'm missing well I guess it took me quite a long time to finally realize that there are many things that I wasn't meant to understand because they made it that way and there are a lot of things that were doctored and changed and mistaken for what was true and I think that is what a lot of people believe today is the problems that we face on a daily basis when it comes to plagues and war and peace not having peace and things like that are really based off how everyone just lives in this modern-day society and I'm nowhere near perfect and trust me I am not 100% accurate on the things that I know because I'm not getting 100% accurate information and that is probably not my fault but at the same time don't ever quote what I say is 100% accurate because I go based off what I feel or basically what I'm being taught and so that was the biggest mistakes for me growing up is maybe thinking one way and life in general being one one-sided or one direction and I really should have looked at things all around and kind of took it for what it was worth and maybe looked for the bigger picture but I'm glad that I'm doing it now and no none of this is facts that I'm saying and none of this is literally fact but it's based off what my personal experience is and maybe someone else might agree with me as far as how they feel but it's just how I feel

Rely on your reason not your feelings or beliefs. Trust yourself. You are not an evil sinner like you may have been told.
It's okay to search for the answers to your questions. It's ok if you find out that you're wrong, it's ok if you find out that you're correct. For many of us who left very emotionally manipulating faith groups, these issues appear to us more easily. It doesn't look like abuse, i didnt consider myself abused at the time. I loved God with everything in me. Until the questions began to appear and i realized it wasnt what i thought it was at all. I left when i was 28. I am now 60 and have struggled with the toxic ideas i was indoctrinated in all my life. I have spent the last three yrs seriously concentrating on my deconstruction/conversion

It seems you were describing my feelings and experiences of anguish and fear of hell and not feeling "the presence" of Jesus or the holy spirit and feeling guilty for my sexuality. I am pretty sure I suffer from religious trauma syndrome and I'd love if you could share some ideas on how to completely heal from it if that's even possible. You are right, Christianity has twisted the true message of Christ and has made the world insane. I was one of them. Awaking from the religious matrix is mind-blowing and incredibly freeing. I am now more aware of the "Father/God/Source/Eternal consciousness etc.) being at one with me but without the religious baggage. The true spiritual journey starts outside of religion, not within it.
By the way, I do see CLEARLY that you have and feel the true "Holy Spirit" in/as you. I see "the fruits of the spirit" in you, I see how it is changing you. It's what's driving you to do the work you're doing. It's the LOVE & desire you have to help free people and change the world for the better. In fact, you feel and have it more than others I have seen. You will continue to do even greater work for the good of all! May you grow in freedom, light, and LOVE my brother!

I’m a new Christian. It seems to me that the various churches are the biggest obstacles to people connecting with the teachings of Jesus. So far my journey has been mostly solitary, sticking to the true messages of caring for my fellow man and always telling the truth. Jesus specifically warns us that the people in positions of power are almost always our enemies lol
If a belief system cannot confront ALL questions by skeptics then it is illegitimate imo. I was a life long atheist so I’ve approached Christianity with such skepticism.

Back in the mid 1980's, I was invited to a "Church" in upstate NY, which, after being there for a while, it became very psychologically destructive. They taught the "6000 year old earth" kind of theories which, I know to be wrong (read any scientific book on Cosmology), but was pressured to accept. They also kept you on a thin line between maintaining and losing salvation, so you were constantly worried about ending up in the lake of fire. I had to leave this place as it was using this fear to control their followers. Internally, this set up a strong repulsive (defensive) barrier for those trying to lure me into any kind of religious organization (this still persists), although churches want to tear down this barrier. Inner turmoil over this lasted for decades, and I finally had sort out what parts of Christianity were good teachings, and which ones were corrupt teachings (with corrupt I mean that someone created a belief or fear that they try to force on others to manipulate for their own benefit). I also have issues with the current corrupt political systems, that force you to work so you can feed in part of your paycheck to it, allowing it to continue to go on. Then it devalues any savings by inflation, money printing, to ensure you can never break free from it. Almost seems like a beast that keeps people chained to itself to prevent them from reaching their true potential. Quite a horrible disposition.

And he heard me and washed away my sins he’s the most High and his name is lifted up and bigger than all names he’s the one who saves and forgives Jesus Christ. He loves you and waits for you. I was seeking happiness in this world and I found a truth happiness in Jesus Christ. It’s always a choice to follow God or no if it was a forced decision to follow God then it’s not Love. But slavery but he’s desires to have an relationship with each person and so everyone would not person but live everlasting life with him in his Glory and we decide follow him or live our own life without God.

I was raised catholic started questioning around the same age as you and left the Catholic Church at 18. I went to church almost everyday for youth group, retreats, catechism, confirmation, all of the above, all of it was branded into my brain and I’ve struggled with letting it go it’s gotten a lil easier but I catch myself thinking oh no is god gonna be mad at me for making this decision. Literally caught myself thinking of it rn as I’m typing this out it’s been hard letting it go and worrying about the fear of going to hell that was also my biggest issue with the catholic religion, it instilled a lot of fear in my life ever since I was a kid I’ve always lived in fear and I’m tired of living in fear. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, and hate leads to suffering great saying by yoda, and I ain’t trying to live like that no more. Im ready to be free from the fears of that religion. I just wanna live a peaceful life and know not everything is gonna be peaceful in life because it’s life but it’s one step closer to peace and that’s alright. I’m not gonna raise my future kids in that lifestyle I’m gonna raise them to be good moral human beings and teach them to respect others and to defend people who can’t defend themselves we need more good people in this world. I’m 25 now and slowly getting free from the fear

Funnily enough my experience with religion wasn't awful.
I was raised Catholic and attended a Nun School for most of my life, but contrary to the norm, they were very lax, accepting, open-minded and well intentioned. I truly believe most of them truly had a calling and it showed through their kindness...
But after a few years and after seeing humanity for myself and learning about as much as I could in different topics (history, filosophy, art, religion, etc.) I "fell out of love" with Christianity and Institutional Religions at large.
I consider myself agnostic at the moment and I try learning as much of other religions as possible, but in an academical way.
It is my opinion that people should have something to believe in, anything, it doesn't matter what od you pray to as long as you have something to look up to and makes you strive to be a better person; after all, a life without direction is very hollow and meaningless, in a way.
And when I talk about belief I mean ANY belief, science, ethics, religions, filosophy, whatever.
One should find what one can use to be better and look up to.
But one should be weary of the fine line that separates a belief serving you... and you serving a belief; because then it becomes zealotey and dogma.

I am Catholic baptised and had my full education in Catholic schools, so I feel offended when I hear people attack the Catholic religion to 'defend' their own religious (or anti-religious) standpoint/church. I like Catholicism because of the RICH culture - the music, the paintings, the Latin that gives everything a sacred vibe. I think that they have changed history several times to keep the idea of having a designed future, but the 60% average (between the 20% upper and the 20% lowest) is still the majority. I worked on a model that has more flexibility to understand the normal, but therefore not the mainstream trends and called it *the ka-ba-la:*
ka = female & spiritual, the Teacher, Source => Consciousness
ba = male & material, the Master, God => Identity
la = body (~ ba) & nobody (~ ka), the Student, Ego (an external ego ~ ba + an internal ego ~ ka) => Facade (ba) & Worth (ka)
If one would use the image of a house to describe the 'levels', ka is the attic, ba is the basement (foundation) and la is everything in between. In Duch (my mother tongue), we speak about a 'boven' (above) bewustzijn and an 'onder' (below) bewustzijn. God is the Master of masters or the King of kings => that proves that He is part of the ba instead of the ka. I wrote in my manuscript (Words are like water, they can take any form ...) that man has the power to maintain a certain situation, but the women have the strength to CHANGE what serves us no longer. Knowledge is only real when shared and every attempt to keep knowledge hidden ended in a catastrophe. Nobody can teach you a lesson, but within each lesson lies the price to learn ...

Follower of Jesus Christ here. I find this subject fascinating.
    Just a few observations.
I've listened to a lot of deconstructionists on UA-cam and have read many of the comments made by other deconstructionists. A very common thread that nearly all deconstructionist exhibit is that they became Christians at a young age, had a religious household, and were members of a very dogmatic authoritarian church, or of a Pentecostal bent of some sort.
Also, most deconstructionists appear to have been taught bad theology; eg. young earth, anti science, and other non biblical ideas that are meant to create an us versus them attitude amongst the particular church's adherents.
I have never heard of a deconstructionist who became a believer later in life (as an adult) who then deconstructed. Not saying that there aren't any, just never encountered one.
I grew up in a "Christian" household and church, but was allowed and encouraged to have questions. My church is nondenominational yet holds to orthodox Christian beliefs, it does not teach whacky, extra biblical ideas; such as a distrust of science.
BTW, I am now 66 years old, I am perfectly at ease in my faith and I don't feel at all threatened or alarmed by those who don't believe as I do; even former believers. However, I am saddened by the harm done to you folks by the many manipulative folks in the church, who due to their apparent lack of true faith, have wounded so many.

Regarding death and suffering; there are things worse than death. Physical death is a natural process.
There are many misunderstandings of what the Bible actually teaches. Unfortunately most people will read their biases into it.

Laws and other indications in the Pentateuch and the rest of the Bible make it clear not only that cruelty to animals is forbidden but also that compassion and mercy to them are demanded of man by God.
BUt animals , if they are created by god, are suffering in the most cruel way every day and that since 3,7 billion years before we humans came up. They are suffering because of the way that god created them.
God shows no mercy on them in this life and as he didnt give them a soul there will be also after death nothing for them (accoirding to your religion).
Here is no escape for your religion my friend.

Some true believer could explain to us how Balaam's Donkey story in Numbers makes any sense . . . I mean, other than as an unmarked fable.
Even if you assume the talking donkey is a miracle of God, according to the story, even Balaam himself does not think it was miraculous at all. Instead, he reacts like a talking donkey is totally normal, like it happens every day. He even insults and then threatens his 'miraculous' donkey.
The story reads just like a fable of old which often had talking animals. And just like in a fable it doesn't have to make sense since you just play along with the make believe parts for fun.
But if the Balaam's Donkey story is an unmarked fable it begs the question: what else in the Bible is unmarked fable, myth, legend or metaphor? Maybe a lot. Maybe most of it.

Bruh... I feel you soo much. I have Catholic upbringing and, ngl, it traumatized me, too. As much as it hurts my psyche, I do perceive good things that came from my religion. I mean, my moral values are quite stable - that's because in my childhood I felt confident for naturally wanting to be soft, modest, and chaste goody-two-shoes person. I still believe in God, I just think that he's grey, imperfect, that he can also do mistakes, be angry, be sad, just like us.
Your opinion about Jesus, that he wanted to show that every human can be divine too, is soo ambiguous...
I'm sticking to my own interpretation, that Jesus just wanted to lead by his own example of how to be a genuinely compassionate and merciful person. That empathy, love, acceptance is the right way. Truly, Jesus was a nicest and chillest dude in the world, that's it. If everyone is similar to him, whether for being religious or having a high emotional intelligence, then that person is near to God. The problem is that being a good person is not that simple in this cruel world, so everyone must find their own way of how to reach it. Ofc, my way is studying psychology - that's how I can explain myself why I do wrong things and what should I do about it.

I guess I will be a part of those comments made in the past. I’m glad you did this video and it shows a lot just because you so cool study scriptures and grew up in a so-called Christian home. There’s not make you a Christian and does not mean that you understand or understood what you was reading. And a lot of by what you said today actually shows that you definitely did not at all. No disrespect intended. whatever organization that you might been involved in, that might have shook on the label as Christie does not make it so many claim to come in his name. But at any time I will be willing to go over our view and eliminate misunderstandings of the scriptures.
