Jimin was working on his vocals a lot last year. I would assume to record this album. He has always had a unique voice, but it's just matured and gotten better
Jimin has a unique voice, praised by several vocal couches. He is also a wonderful human being. Maybe an angel. He is also the best dancer in the industry for the last 5 years. Silver Army from Brazil 🇧🇷💜💜🇧🇷💜🇧🇷
When Jimin dances he's in his world. Pdogg mentioned that Jimin worked hard on this album right after "Face". I agree it's like the same sweet Jimin but free with no stress. It's a good look on him. Thank you for your reaction...✌💜
Thanks for the lovely reaction. I’m obsessed with this song. The guitar, piano, drums, vocals, dance, lyrics, melody, the layering - it’s incredible. Jimin has one of the most unique vocals I’ve ever heard and he has worked really really hard over the past few years to strengthen it. He also took English lessons the past year. He’s a determined person, willing to put in the hard work to improve and you can see it clearly in this album.
@rubrikcrousbofill2588 Yes, and he never told anyone about the choreography. If RM hadn't asked him, we wouldn't have known. I recognised his choreography, and the steps were different WOW.✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
I loved that you watched it twice and got the chills. Jimin is an amazing creative artist and it shows. I always thought he was a late bloomer, but when he did bloom, everyone should watch out. The more Jimin creates the more amazing he will grow. Remember he's just gotten started.
Late bloomer? Who you talking about? Ridiculous! Just saw this comment. He was rising star of Busan before he joined BTS. He was just not interested in his solo career! He is the only one classically trained in dance too and won many dance street battles
Doesn't it remind you of old school MJ videos? . . . . I LOVE it!!!!!!!! Took me back!!!!!He can dance so beautifully and SING so well!!! . . I also like the concept of waiting for your future love and wondering where he or she will be coming . . . SO can relate to that! . . .It feels so comforting coming from him! You know that on the movie sign the words, "Just call my name out loud whenever you need me . . " That's from his other song, "Closer Than This."

You are opening your inner self to criticism, you probably know you will get some no matter what. Esp in today’s hyper critical world. That’s incredibly courageous.

When Jimin joined BigHits training program he wasn’t a singer. Because of him having a contemporary dance background he had to retrained his dancing for idol dance. Because they focused on his dancing he didn’t get vocal training like the others. He asked if it was ok for him to sit in and watch while the others were in their vocal classes. After the class was finished he would go practice on his own. So he wasn’t a trained vocalist. During the MiniMoni program where Jimin and RM shared their new albums with each other Jimin mentioned he took vocal lessons during the year he was working on Face and Muse. He found out he was using his vocals wrong and hurting himself. Because of the new vocal training he said he can’t sing the BTS songs the way he used to. That training is what elevated his vocal in Muse. I am so excited to see how BTS 2.0 is going to sound when they are all back together with their stories, their lyrics, their styles and the creativity of 7 grown men (no longer boys) who all found their colors during their so called hiatus. 🤯

On another note, JIMIN released FACE (March 24, 2023) before Jungkook released Golden (November 3, 2023). Actually SUGA (April 21, 2023, right after Jimin), and V (September 8, 2023), released their solo albums before Jungkook as well. Set Me Free Pt. 2 was Jimin's pre-release song from FACE, released March 16, 2023, released four months before Seven was released July 13, 2023, Jungkooks first single release from his album Golden. He didn't even have an album planned yet. It was supposed to be a solo single release, and he ended up working with American Producers to put together Golden, an all English album. And JIMIN's title track for FACE, Like Crazy, was released on March 23, 2023, before Jungkook's song SEVEN, and it hit the Billboard Hot 100 number 1, and JIMIN was the first solo Korean artist to have a song reach number 1 on the billboard Hot 100 chart. He broke many records. Then Jungkook's song Seven was the second song to hit number 1 on the BB Hot 100, with seven, and Standing next to you got number 5 on the BB Hot 100.
I recommend Jimin talking with RM about the Muse album and he also touches on his Face album and said he was worried about his voice as he's been straining and realise he that's not going to last and then he'll no longer be able to sing some of BTS songs. So he went back to basic's and did some vocal training/singing practice.
BTS began as self creating - even as it is not as much as Seventeen - they had control. bby gang mag has a good video essay "BTS: More than K-pop" Or if you have time "The Rise of Bangtan"-series tells their story very well while going into the context and who they are while working with contrasts. Jimin had not found his voice back than and thought he was horrible at it - but the Rapline wrote: RM was a name in the Hiphop underground scene under the name Runch. Zico made fun of another older rapper by saying he was beaten by 15 year old Runch. Suga had actually heard about him. He was also in the underground scene but also produced songs (and sold them). He actually remixed as a teen the song he rapped on for "Hit it" a rap competition by Big Hit and was signed. J-Hope was an underground dancer but learned to freestyle in the dorm with the other rappers. Jimin eventually wrote Promise and released it on Soundcloud - where a lot of BTS free songs landed including entire mixtapes by the rapline - where it became the most listened to song. He has done some other stuff and was encouraged by everyone else to do so. At first he was a little reluctant before going full steam ahead and working with the in-House producers. he lived on Pdogg's couch for months for that. Jimin was a dancer first but was encouraged to do more. The HYBE channel has a few vids on T&D (Training and Development). RM is on it and Jimin gets mentioned twice. Suga made an interview show called Suchwita. it is actually very interesting to watch how he works with other artists, friends, the members and TXT. Taylor Mari has made a good intro called the Bangtan seven.
Did you just say that they didn't create more than seventeen? Where in the world did you get that. BTS has been creating since the beginning. maybe it was a auto correct.

No disrespect meant for JK but JK did not come up with his album. It was all written for him (JK is a talented songwritrer but I think JK wasnt given much of a choice). The company wanted to propel him into an international pop star, not just a kpop star. They promoted him crazy heavily, make him sing about sex, typical Western fare and matched him with big collabs. Jimin has more creative freedom and wrote 6/7 songs in MUSE (the one he didnt write is the one with no lyrics). Jimin also wrote FACE. Jimin has 5 songs with an ALL KILL in Itunes (reached #1 in ALL regions which has Itunes) and WHO is set to become the fastest to achieve the feat. In fact Jimin helped BTS achieve its first all kill with his solo song FILTER (released under BTS credits). V has 1 song with the AK. He said he only started working on Golden because he heard Seven and knew the song was special. He said he would still be on a break if he didn't come across it. Jungkook was the one to choose the tracks for Golden so it had his input and he challenged himself with different genres + singing in english as a non native speaker. They had creative freedom from the very start it's why 2 of the member's were signed on because they were already writing and were Rappers already 1 of whom was also sign on as a Rapper/Producer (Suga aka Agust D) and RM as a Rapper and Song writer. In fact RM main song writer of the 7, Suga main Producer of the 7 and also composer not just for BTS but for other artists in other companies. All 7 can write, compose and have a hand in Production the 3 Rappers are the most prolific but the 4 Vocals haven't been sleeping and letting the 3 Rappers and their in house team do everything for them. There's footage of RM talking with Bang PD who said to RM the song he'd written didn't seem like him and continued to say to RM but don't listen to me you should still release it'. which RM did with full backing from Bang PD
BTS's were with a tiny almost bankrupt company in millions of US dollars in debt. The 7 member all sleep in one tiny room in bunk beds. Suga was doing a part time delivery job to try pay for his college fees. Jin was paying for Jungkooks school meals. They had to use their tiny staff as extra's and in one MV of J Hope's Hope world Solo album the car in the otherwise empty car park is a staff members car. At one point they were told they'd have to leave their tiny place and go home because BigHit didn't have any money to pay the rent. But Suga refused saying 'we aren't leaving and we've no were to go'. Thankfully they weren't evicted out by the owner of the place and Bang PD was able to get enough to pay the rent. They earn some money with some of the member being back up dancers for other artists from other companies.
I want you to stop reacting to our Jimin's video if you react without truly knowing the artist and laughing with disdain. Jimin works hard. And we love all of Jimin's work.
I disagree. Only the people who don't have much knowledge about the artist can give a more accurate or fresh analysis without bias. We are not here to find more Jimin's fans. We are here to listen to what other people are thinking about the artists. He will do reactions about many different artists. It's impossible to know the ins and outs of the artist's work. I'm just hoping they know a little more than average people about the music itself. I'm sure he knows what most people have.
