You could totally start your own business 👩💼; lots of folks are doing just that. Or, you know, if you're looking for something in your current career field, you can make some calls to companies that do what you're good at. Now, when it comes to big employers, we've got some heavy hitters here. The Southern California Logistics Airport is a big deal, offering jobs in things like aviation, logistics, and more. Plus, we've got a federal prison in Victorville, and that's another major employer. Oh, and did I mention the gigantic Amazon warehouse? Yep, it's right here in Victorville, near the airport. Loads of job opportunities there, too. And if you're into retail, we've got a thriving scene with stores, restaurants, and shopping centers that often hire. Now, I know some folks commute to nearby places like Los Angeles for work. It's not too bad because we're close to major highways. Traffic is a problem but you can get to major city’s from Victorville California. @@livinginthehd The community is pretty diverse. They really watch out for each other...kind of weird in some ways. The HOA is not very strict IMO. They are in other stuff like facility usage etc, but not the houses too much. They don't control the streets, so it is up to you to contact CHP if there's a vehicle that shouldn't be there. It's very quiet...except for some barking dogs. There are lots of dogs and they escape the home because the houses that back up to the water in not fenced off so they find their way around it. People are very friendly, be aware that it is highly "conservative", but they aren't rude about it...just the Trump signs.

They do have security driving around and they’ll ask you if you have your pass or your ID to be able to be there in the community. You can go eat at the restaurant in front of the lake if you would like to do that. It’s called silverwood lake state recreation area here San Bernardino it’s $10 per car 🚗 or $20 on holidays.
