Hi Rand, That is good to see that you have put all the eggs of content optimization right in one basket. Makes my work pretty easy. I will make sure of using this for my clients.
I fairly new to blogging (less than 1 year) and had very little knowledge about the technical side (website setup, linking, SEO, etc...) when I started, so I've been doing tons of reading, listening to podcasts, and watching UA-cam videos. At times it gets a little over-whelming, but I'm committed to see if I can make this work for me. I recently came across your "Whiteboard Friday" videos and love them!! The content and the way all of you present the topics is awesome! I am now a subscriber, so keep the info coming. Thank you!
I am in a similar experience but only about a month into the process. I got hired as a content writer/blogger for a company but am also trying to help them with SEO and digital marketing with little experience. Can you recommend and books, podcasts, and other resources that have helped you along the way? Much appreciated!
Really helpful series, it's made me think. I'm targeting two keywords, "plasterer" and "decorator" plus the city. When I'm making external links targeting "decorator", should the link be to my home page, or the web page targeting the key word "decorator"? Right now they're all pointing at the homepage, which isn't really targeting any keyword in particular.
This is a brilliant video Rand and Moz! I can spend hours and hours on whiteboard Friday videos! I was wondering, if you have a website with lots of content, would you create this keyword map for every single content-based webpage? A website I'm working on right now has 620 content-based webpages, and I'm struggling to manually record all the stats for each one as it is time-consuming
Hi, Rand! I was pretty concerned about the quality of the content and page loading speed. I did my work and it seems fine now. My question is about outbound linking, as you talked about the SEO Audit, my question is related. I used to believe/probably still believe that a wide variety of different authoritative links in an article could influence the ranking. My question to you is: Have you ever noticed that an article/or a page that links to the various pages of a single authoritative site could outsmart the competition in terms of SEO and ranking? (I would appreciate if you share what you think about that)

Hi Rand! You titled the video as a Keyword Map. However, in reality, it is a checklist. Thanks for making it super helpful.
