I mean, I know bloc voting is a problem... But here we don't vote for our neighbours every year just because of politics, but because we like and understand the songs the most

OMFG! HOLY GOD! OMG! I thought he had retired or sth... WTH!? Just because someone is terrible at his job, it's not right to hope for him or her to die(unless he/she works for the police)... Just listen to what you just said. You're really glad a person died?

For me, Serbia and Montenegro's song that year was average. Sorry if I offended you. :)
@DuleProductions Actually I was more to the Ukrainian song, but I totally agree with you though. Eurovision is not (or at least not supposed to be) a place for one straight music culture, but a place for every kind of music - rock, electro pop, 80's style pop, r&b, folk, blues, and whatever... and Terry's making fun of almost every song, which isn't in the UK 1960/1970's era and sounds like "Congratulations" or "Save Your Kisses For Me"
it seems like 2004 was not so long ago but at the same time, it has been 8 years already. time flies, compared to how the voting is done these now, this is already retro! :( i feel old!
@DuleProductions look that song was a very common European folk type song but people in the UK don't really like folk, we don't really embrace our culture and tradition, we always look to the future rather than our past which is our main problem. If you look at the UK top 40 music charts, you'll see that not a single one of them has a folk instrument played in it yet if you look at France, Spain or Romania they might have songs with flutes, accordions and other instruments
He actually anticipated every vote there was presented by each country, that's how predictable the voting system was back then and is now unfortunately.

I´dont understand! in the alphabetical order the first country in vote is Albania and the next is Andorra. The letter L go after than N.

He's not dead, he just quit commentating the Contest and instead only does UK TV these days, :)
it goes for the ISO-codes. Andorra has AD, Albania has AL, then Austria with AT etc. That's why Germany comes before Denmark (DE before DK) and the UK doesn't call last (GB).
