@@boocrimson7720 someone on tiktok said that there is a huge chance idia won't be affected bcs the reason why everyone fall asleep is actually bcs a 'mist' that came out from malleus unique magic, so even tho malleus skill can surround the whole sage island his 'mist' would be thicker at the center(diasomnia dorm) and gradually thinner,
and some personal thought, considering that each dorm didn't even located in sage island and need magic mirror to transport, it's still unclear either other dorm actually affected by malleus skill or not
And from previous chapter we know that leona know how to differentiate dream and reality, and rook know how long his been unconscious/sleeping(halloween event), so for um 'inside force' we possibly have leona rook idia silver sebek(bcs their new artifacts from lilia still have a little detail, we dunno what they do but hopefully useful) and whoever npc have enough magical power to actually wake up
And for 'outside force' we might be able to see rsa styx and whoever idia might be able to reach, hopefully we might be able see characters from briar valley and other kingdom

I got chills everytime I hear Malleus humming
I suspect that is because some of the remains of the true Ortho's souls stay with him in his circuit. Since Idia mention that he wasn't able to change his ''will'' anymore

No matter how many times I listen to the humming, it never fails to make me feel sad. The original sounds dreamy and nostalgic, maybe because I grew up with the original Disney stories. But Malleus humming just makes me want to cry. It just sounds empty and sad, but content. He got everyone finally at closer proximity, but at the same time he's still all alone. The song was about two person (stranger, to be more specific) finally seeing each other, but they are merely dreams. No matter how much you deluded yourself, whoever that person gonna be actually will break your hope (lol this kinda hints Lilia/Idia relationship)
He's actually humming a snippet of the song "Sleeping Beauty" it's the song that plays when the fairies put the castle to sleep.

I can’t help but think of this scene when I watched this. The reason why is because when you’re holding the people you love back forcefully and not let them go, you’ll suffocate not only them but yourself as well.

The one time Idia's anti-socialness saved his ass... or did he get caught in the spell too since it looks like the thorns covered the whole island?
I think this is his dragon form remember in the og Malificent surrounded the castle in thorns and turned into a dragon in order to keep the prince away from Aurora when she was under the curse
I know, compared to Chapter 6's AMAZING build-up, I hardly know anything about Malleus.

I honestly don’t know how we’re going to get out of this situation unless a certain shut in with flaming hair and possibly a mouse that shows up on a mirror comes to save everyone.
Considering the possibility of our side of the story taking place in a dream realm and Mickey has to be asleep to see us, I'd say the possibilities of meeting him in person at last are pretty high

Malleus seems really aware despite being in an overblot form, it’s kind of cool, Malleus is really amazing. Though I’m worried on what’s to come adware we beat him, how will they all perceive Malleus.
The theories going on are making me go crazy, like the one where they say that this is where the game starts, so terrifying and awesome!!
Poor Malleus though, he doesn’t want to be alone and he’s doing all this, I feel so bad, hopefully after all this is over, people will want to be his friend

You remember back then ortho has been change like a human heart since Idia was rebuilt him again and there’s a bug with his memories remember?
I have a feeling since we get Malleus’s overblot this early, he’s going to have multiple versions of his Overblot form. The first 14:12 which is quite shocking but isn’t the same as the others-nor even Idia/Ortho’s who also overblotted early in Chapter 6 but still shared similar blot details like Idia’s overlapping overblot voice and a phantom (Ortho) standing behind him.
Malleus doesn’t have that overlap in his voice nor a phantom shown yet, so he is in control of this form. And since we have 2 out of 3 dreams left shown by the mirror to Yuu/MC, knowing Maleficent, the second dream is going to be her losing her cool unable to find the Missing Aurora until her crow finds her in the forest living with the 3 good fairies and she lures Aurora to the spinning wheel once she comes back to the castle on her fated birthday. Malleus is still going to have the form we see again 14:12 but either Idia saves Yuu/MC, Ortho, Lilia, Silver, and Sebek and Malleus grows even worse and might start to develop the phantom and overlap in his voice, and just like Maleficent, he might try to use a hypnotic song on one of the characters (might be Lilia or Yuu/MC) to put them back to sleep. What we do in the dream state, I don’t know, but somehow Mickey is going to have that part to play since he’s in a dream world as we learned at the end of Chapter 6. Also not sure if Malleus will also be in the dream world as himself and will act as overseer or not? Or because he’s alone in the real world, he might not have access to the dream world?
Finally, the third dream is going to be the scene in the movie of Philip vs Maleficent battle where Maleficent turns into a dragon. And since Malleus is a dragon fae, and we’ve seen parts of his dragon form in his Halloween costume, we might finally get his full true form but in an overblotted state-kind of like Azul’s true octopus form when he overblotted.
So all in all, my theory which could be wrong is Malleus is going to have multiple Overblot forms which is heartbreaking but at the same time I’m really curious about the design of the dragon form-if it comes true. By far this is the best Chapter of the Main Story, I can’t wait for the next part to be released in Japan, I feel so bad for Malleus and being a Diasomnia simp, it breaks my heart seeing my boys like this 😖😭💔
Nice theories, that might be possible, i think the story will continue in a dream world but Mc, Idia and Ortho realize it and try to break free somehow, my theory is that Silver might have a sort of sleeping curse which will help him

Probably Mickey have a role in the fight with Malleus Overblot like he do with Maleficent Dragon in the "Fantasmic" show from the Disney parks
I truly believe this, and, since the hero if this story is Idia I'm positive that Malleus will be like freezer and have multiple ''boss stages'' (literally the title of the chapter was Forced Game Over) Is his chance to shine as a gamer boy
Also adding the fact that Idia may also play a role in part of Malleus' overblot if the story really goes towards that direction. There has always been a pattern where in one way or another, the form with the previous overblot will be one of the factors causing the overblot of the current dorm having an overblot
I predicted the next part of Chapter 7 will be a dream world where Yuu is the only aware there are in a dream created by Malleus and they need to find a way out. However, they need to find Grim, Ace, Deuce, and possibly Ortho for their assistance.
Here's what I notice about Malleus in this chapter compared to chapter 5. Chapter 5 was an invitation to "prove good friends" and "get closer" (when he fixes the VDC arena), but chapter 7 was an invitation to "say goodbye" (which kind of broke that trust). I feel that it also separates light and dark.
Lilia thanked everyone for the party as he was getting ready to take his leave. Suddenly Malleus shows up with Silver to bestow his gift to everyone at the party. As they notice something was wrong ortho' s emergency alarm activates and Crowley realising what was gonna happen, tells the students to stop Malleus. But despite their best attempts it wasn't enough and not only does he casts his spell and puts everyone asleep, but also overblots. It seems the only person who could possibly have even the slightest chance of winning is Idia who didn't attend the farewell party and his role in the story might be bigger than he realized later in the chapters in aiding his friends and his brother.

I also like the theory that Leona might join Idia in the fight against the Malleus. On the art of the official site, where they are all in coffins(except Malleus), only Leona and Idia look out from them when the others are inside. And if I remember correctly, Leona said that he can easily recognize when he is sleeping and can get out of this state, maybe he will do that, but will he need more time this time? Well, it remains only to wait for the sequel.

I almost had a heart attack the first time I went through it in the game 😭 it actually left me speechless.
Is it just me, or are Malleus's humming screaming serial killer vibes after completing their crimes. Idia-san, you better save us, or your beloved anime figurines and games are going to the sacred furnace. I wonder if we'll see Mickey waking up Silver or Yuu and helping them battle against Overblot Malleus using Yen Sid's hat or Keyblade while he gives Yuu his magic paintbrush. And the ending of this part, are they trying to say the time loop theory is?! If Idia is Prince Phillip in this arc, will he give us a smooch to wake us up?

I cried when Malleus humming Once Upon A Dream is very beautiful and amazing, it's sound so sad but beautiful. Our only hope here is Idia and how is Idia gonna beat Malleus?
Silver's ring can reverse Malleus's sleeping curse, Silver's ring can put him to sleep(confirmed in unknown chapter of Book 7) and now that Malleus put a sleeping curse on Silver(and everyone) which means that his ring is no longer can put him into sleep. My theory is that Leona might not asleep or might break his own sleeping curse??. The Twisted Wonderland art of dorm leaders in their coffins, Riddle, Azul, Kalim and Vil are inside of their coffins except, Malleus is outside of his coffin, Leona is also outside of his coffin staring at Malleus or at the center and Idia peeking out from his coffin. And in this chapter Idia didn't attend to Lilia's Farewell Party(which is confirmed in the art??) and I think Leona might confirmed as well.
[My theory] I have a feeling that Ortho and Yuu/MC is not asleep, Ortho is a robot after all (and if Ortho has a soul of 'Ortho' then that means he is asleep) and Yuu/MC should had an option like this [ > Zzzzz........ ] but it didn't pop up that means their faking for being asleep.
