I am ABSOLUTELY infatuated with Jane Austen and her literary work "Pride and Prejudice." And have been since the late 1970s. I have seen many of the film adaptations and at one time purchased any copy of the book that I found. Along with what I consider the miraculous finding of a book called "Pemberly Shades" these are my treasures. Your video actually brought tears to my eyes because I remember with great fondness a trip to England way back in the 1980s. Visiting a penpal, she knew of my infatuation with Jane Austen and took me to Jane's Father's Church, to Chawton, her burial site in Winchester Cathedral and to the last house she lived in (can't recall anything aside from we couldn't go inside and that the house was painted yellow.) The two adaptations that are my favorites are: 1980 with David Rintoul and Elizabeth Harvie and the 1995 with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle (I recently found her UA-cam channel where she is reading "Pride and Prejudice") Again, thank you so very much for your time to create this heartwarming and visually pleasing video. And, you look stunning in your hand sewn outfits! A blessed Christmas and a happy New Year 2021!
Thank you so much for sharing it. I am absolutely in love with " Pride and Prejudice". You are so lucky that you were able to tour the filming locations. I wonder if there is a documentary about filming the series?. 🌹
This is amazing! This is all I've ever wanted to do since seeing the movie at the age of 8. I've always wanted to just visit every interior and exterior of the beautiful movie. I have been researching several Pride & Prejudice tours. Which Tour is this? This seem absolutely perfect! It covers everything!! You're costumes are lovely by the way. I too am costumer. I've worked several times in the film industry with wardrobe. :) Again really great video post!
Love it. I've also visited every location but may I ask how were you able to go inside in Luckington Court and the Old Rectory? Ohh, and where are the shelves in the closet? :D
Thanks for uploading this, really interesting. I've done tours on Google Maps Street View of the various locations and I think I have found most of them, but this really brings it all together. The only place I can't find is the country track where Darcy and Lizzy finally get engaged! Perhaps you know where it is, I presume it must be at 'Longbourne', but have yet to locate it?
BBC made all the scenes absolutely perfect

My mascot !
How did all the people react when you knocked on their doors and said "We love Jane Austen. Can we come into your house?".
Dünyayı yok ederim
first, and foremost, it was not a film.
