90-s forever..
Another song that was great ?Another cup of coffee ,Mike and the mechanics .Beautiful .Stunning track by one of UK's most underrated bands
Pure 90s
@Jay Campbell 90s songs destroy everything imo
For some reason I can never remember who sings this but I always think of it as a Halloween song that sounds like an oldies but a newish rock song.
Classic !! Always will be !!
Absolute timeless classic...
This song played at my sister’s funeral, it will be forever etched in my mind because she liked it and her friend painted me a picture of her with the lyrics on the side, i will turn them into a tattoo one day
Sorry if this sounds insensitive, but it sounds like she had a kick-arse funeral.
Sorry for your loss ❤️ she must've been pretty awesome to have such a send off.
I'd like to see the picture that was painted 🎨
@John Deer your a nobody mate, dont tell people what to do
@John Deer dont be so sensible kid, i will elaborate... No one has the right or the wisdom to tell other human " you shall not do that", we are all nobodies in terms of ultimate truth... if he feels like tattoing or whatever is his thing. And chill mate, no need to waste energy (and comment on my videos like a creep) on what strangers say about you, you are just showing you are triggered.
If you metaphysically reincarnated David Bowie and Elvis's voice for a song you'd have Edwyn Collins..... This is without a doubt one of the greatest tunes of any generation! I can't believe he never blew up after this hit...... I also love the video and and especially the two nods in the video when he says... And I never had a girl like you before... It make the song Very personal and believable.
Bowie and Presley are right on for the deep shaky sound he has, except that Edwin is less stylized than either one. A very natural, raw, sexy delivery. Tres masculin,
He couldn't do the work needed to make himself better known after the stroke.
Yes a long time ago i thought this song was sung by Bowie
I did as well assumed it was David Bowie when it played in background of movie Charlie's Angels Full Throttle.
Cheers
This song has paid his mortgage and then some, he's done very well! We'll be listening to this in 50 years time still.
genius tune
Never heard a song like this before!
Will always remember this song as the set up to the big showdown in Charlie’s Angels Full Throttle, and the finish on the final note with the metal door slamming shut 🔥
Same!!
Demi Moore never looked hotter than that 😍
Yeah bro
This song deservers its own 007 movie.🥰
"Scotch on rocks! No junks in it!"
Can’t say anything more. Enuff said
Always loved this song. Takes me back to my high school years !!!
Makes me nostalgic for the goth/metal clubs of the 90s.
Underrated song. One of my favorites.

It was a real hit, quite forgotten these days.
dh quin,
it was a worldwide hit when it was released, reaching top 10 in about 20 different charts.

Since i have heard this on The Crown, i have fallen in love with this song.
Just heard this on a re-run of Lucifer. Love it as much today as the first day I heard heard it.
I also heard from the Crown and had completely forgotten about this song. I always thought it was David Bowie. Great song!
@@marcogeraci2555 Likewise, on all counts - 1) heard it on the Crown credits tonight, 2) had forgotten all about it and 3) thought it might be Bowie - has that "China Girl" woof to it. Oh, yeah, and 4) GREAT SONG!
Hell if you liked it on the crown you’ll love it on the movie Empire Records

Feli, check out "Rip It Up", by Orange Juice if you don't know about it already. It's Edwyn back in the 80's. Great song and if you like his voice, it may be something you like. Cheers.
