When we need confidence in God’s plans for us, considering His perfect work gives us peace.
In this message, Dr. Stanley walks with us through the events of the Christmas story, where Scripture affirms how every detail of the Messiah’s arrival was wisely and meticulously fulfilled by God. Perhaps you will see yourself at the very heart of that story, because it was part of the Father’s plan to redeem you through the life and sacrifice of His Son.
Whatever circumstances you face, you can trust your heavenly Father to direct your life with loving attention and care. After all, He does all things wisely and well.

That the right doors will open, the right people will show up. You will see favor, you will see increase, and you will go further than you’ve ever imagined.

I didn't really understand Christianity until I started watching Charles Stanley. Now I pray to God and ask for Christ's forgiveness. My faith is not very strong but I am trying.

Just listened to Dr. Charles Stanley’s message today. Did here him say staying in a stormy marriage is a sacrifice. I have observed many a women who has been beaten by a spouse and chose to stay longer than she should have because she felt according to scripture, this is a sacrifice that needed to be made. 😮 How stormy a marriage did he mean?
If you’re having a tough Christmas, don’t beat yourself up. Remember, you can get through anything for one day (see the Old Testament Book of Deuteronomy 33:25). The LORD JESUS CHRIST understands. HE came to ‘heal the heartbroken’, so turn to HIM this Christmas and ask HIM to restore your peace and joy, AMÉN!

How does one learn to pray?
I was an atheist for 50 years. 7 Years ago God opened my eyes.
I study His Word and listen to pastors on a daily base. I talk to Him, but I have a problem with praying.
I live very remote and haven't found a good church here in Costa Rica.
Neither do I know a true Christian here. Most believe in God, but don't live by His Word.
I've lost all contact with family and friends. They think I'm crazy and follow a sect. After all they are atheists and never read the Bible.
Does anyone know a good channel or site where they teach people like me, a new Christian, how to pray?

In direct disobedience to God, the Jews under Manasseh actually set up an asherah in honor of Baal, the son and husband of Ashtoreth (see 2 Kings 21:3). Indeed, such was used in surrounding cultures to honor the sun-god Baal and his mother on the birthday of the sun, December 25-which is when this abomination of Manasseh may have taken place, in imitation of neighboring societies. Even if that's not exactly what Manasseh did, it is rather likely that such decorated trees in winter would have been part of the Jews' worship of Baal, as in other cultures.

December 25th has absolutely NOTHING to do with Jesus Christ. The winter solstice and December 25th was a celebration that began in Babylon with Nimrod, Semiramis, and Tamuz. The evergreen tree represents rebirth...from the yule log that is reborn into a tree. This is pure paganism. We are NOT to worship God in the way the heathens worshiped their gods. It is abomination. Never once in scripture are we told to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
Not to mention, there is no way He could have been born in December as shepherds were still in the fields with their flocks. This would have been Sept to early October at the latest. Christmas is pagan, and is pure Babylonian tradition, not of God at all.
