I remember this distinctly. Wanted everyone to love L&M but they stayed just under the radar which probably serves their legacy well. James Grant played the Union Chapel a few weeks ago and sounding good as ever. One of the great singer songwriters / guitarists. I'd love to know what was in the water in Glasgow in the 80's, the quality music pouring out of it was quite astonishing.
Wow I can't believe how good they were live. In those days we didn't have youtube, so if you were lucky you could see them live. I only heard the album and know it backwards, this is so cool actually seeing and hearing them live after all these years.
I recall vividly seeing this performance;bought the 12” box of Hallelujah Man from a wee record shop in Gorgie,Edinburgh and then saw them live weeks later at the Venue.A Fantastic underrated band! James Grant to this day is superb live.
Great Band, James a huge talent and still sounding great ! A shame they didn’t get more success. Probably too much Rock’n’Roll and Country influences for mainstream…😢
Love is nice if you have a human which makes the same to you aka me , so as the song , I still haven't found what I am looking for , I will find it maybe in Thailand which I will visit NEXT week and be there until the end of winter in crazy fucking Germany ! ! ! ❤❤😂
I still listen to their music. Great songs. Great musicians. They should have been much bigger. Glad I discovered them way back when.

He’s probably better now than he was… his lyrics are wonderful and his voice much developed… ❤️

Saw them in San Francisco at a mid sized club ! They were absolutely raw and flawless , much like this performance !!
Please come back live again . I want to see at least James singing that song one more time ❤
Absolutely fantastic, takes me back to my youth. Two weeks in corfu at 16 with my mates
