I love this book and the songs. I learned it in the 50’s when I was growing up. I still have the songs memorized. Timeless and dear.

Our family had this record when I was growing up. I can still sing along with the chorus. I love discovering that Neville sold this book.

Did you know that faith is a physical power? That faith has a magnitude you have to cultivate as experience. Doubt will cancel out faith. You have to cultivate doubt in the same manner, through experience. You may as well grow faith. Have a beautiful day!!!

Yes indeed! The Carrot Seed was written by Ruth Krauss and illustrated by her husband, Crockett Johnson in 1945. Crockett Johnson was the creator of the very well known children's book "Harold and the Purple Crayon". Ruth Krauss is the writer of my favorite children's book, "A Hole Is To Dig" This book was illustrated by Maurice Sendak, the creator of "Where The Wild Things Are".
