No. It does not. It is original, imaginative, thought provoking and hints of religion. Hollywood is owned by the libtards and they put out only crap that helps keep the masses complacent.
There are really only less than a dozen basic stories that can be told. Everything else is window dressing and flavor texts. I havent seen a truly original film since I was a kid. This is no exception. I like the flavor though. Which is why I follow Dust. It WOULD be nice though to hear a new story one more time.
To the creators: You have a great story here that needs to be told in it's entirety. A television series or movie trilogy at the very least! Dust: Thank you for bringing this to us! It's truly a unique concept and sparks the imagination on how they got to where they are and where they are going.
I've never seen a short film quite like this one. It's gritty and post-apocalyptic feeling. The shaman reminds me of a Jedi Knight, though no one has mentioned this. These are the front line soldiers, much like the Ukrainian defenders battling the Russian colossus in far eastern Ukraine. One question I have is this: who is the Christ-like figure in the film, and whose side is be on? Thoughts, anyone?
How is it possible to make a short movie better than a silver screen, the cinematography, the scenery, the actors, the product, make up, screenplay, director, effects, the idea of this movie you should be at the Cannes festival
When creators put their minds to pushing a great story instead of a bad ideology, and stop pushing "woke" drivel at the cost of plot, character depth, and plausibility, anything is possible.
I see many people saying this should be made into a TV series or movie. I say these kind of short films are perfectly made the way they are, and the fact that they're short and concise actually give them part of the magic they contain. I rather think it would be awesome to watch sequels to these kind of short films, where it applies. That would be awesome. Either way, love Dust and all the great creators behind the art they share.
Fantastic piece of work and highly original. Did you notice at the end, the shaman cried out "I killed them, I killed them !". I don't think he was just talking about the enemy troops. He meant his family. Even if his apprentice thought he meant the enemy. Excellent thread left hanging in the air for interpretation.
Oh my God. That...was absolutely PHENOMENAL. It was totally riveting, beautiful, the story, the vision, the entire idea could be made into a literal series of movies... the possibilities for this are endless. I'm literally blown away. Wow wow 👏😮👏😮👏
Inception and Matrix taste in only 16 mins movie. Dear Dust, please fund genius Kalantari to make this a full time movie in theaters. Now I'll watch this 5 times in a row to make it a full time movie for myself.
This is so very well made. The concept of fighting AI after their ascension on another spiritual plane is unique to me, other books hint at the idea but this takes it head-on. There are a lot of layers there. This is great. And I loved the idea of a muse being required for a shaman to do their work. They need a grounding-rod to believe in them. Also a very nice lore idea.
This would make a great movie. It has the potential of being a great movie. Someone in Hollywood should pick it up. I have watched it several times. It never gets old !

I love how when the second time the shaman talk to the colossus she wore black and her tone shows a lot of doubt and doesn't project strength as the first encounter. I just love this whole fictional world I really need to see more of this
I LOVE that special effects have reached a point of sophistication where independent filmmakers, low-budget studios, foreign films existing outside of “Hollywood”, etc. can tell a great sci-fi story without the sets, costumes, effects, etc. looking “cheesy” like some 80s dystopian flick. 👏👏👏

Great cinematography. And the concept of trying to defeat a seemingly-unstoppable battle machine by manipulating its "soul" is indeed unique. The actors portray raw emotion well. However, this film is so bizarre, so much like a fevered-dream, that it is barely comprehensible. It seems like a lot of effort was put into mood and atmosphere, but not enough into a coherent story.
Yes. I stumbled upon it back then when I was looking for some good short form sci-fi. It was great to see it again. It really deserves to be fully fleshed out.
