@@lllbarker I like that you really explored the original message of the song, as lots of people (like myself) have just used it in the context of being obsessed with the person in question, and not actually focusing on "unrequited love". This is especially powerful with the last scene of Edwin imprisoning Charles in his arms and almost jailing Charles with his love in order to make him stay at his side. Even though it is a pure love, you can also see how part of it is selfish on Edwins part because it influences Charles to not want to move on to the afterlife when he would 100percent be guaranteed going to heaven. I wonder if Edwin pushed Charles away enough, would it make Charles end up moving on? Probably not, because he is stubborn af. But did Edwin even try very hard to do this?.... doesn't seem like it. Anyway, I like how your video makes me think all these things!
