There are almost no rules on this show. It took me a few clips to figure it out. They can just walk into the house and get anything they want. One task had a timeline of 20 weeks haha
The only other one I have watched before this one was where they had to build a bridge with only the things on that one table in that exact room. So yeah. I was confused too.
One thing I love about taskmaster is that they love to reuse props and sprinkle in references to tasks in previous series. Not only is that the model taskmaster house from the “strength in arches” task, they put in a little shopping cart in the river calling back to when Richard Osman yeeted an entire shopping cart into a river
Sometimes they reuse props because they have them laying around the task house or the prop warehouse. It's great that they don't throw anything away. The little extra bits like the grocery cart are all bonus work that somebody did and it's always appreciated.

And now they're being so ungrateful about it as well, smh kids are so dumb nowadays, my generation have had way worse.

Back in the old days, people have sex as soon as they were born, that's why virgin blood are so valuable. These days, dead bodies are the norm. I've heard that human skulls are accepted in some places but It's a bother to get since I never uses sharp tools to kill, I just smash their skulls in with a hammer.

I would argue that he is not even in that enviroment in real life and also that for a camouflage you do not alter the enviroment to fit you. So... Camouflage=Clothes/props to fit enviroment. NOT enviroment to fit you.
My best theory was that she did it so she could count them and say "Well, I did 63 tasks on Taskmaster." What Lola said makes a lot of sense though. Other than the task letters that's probably one of the few easily available "souvenirs" she could bring back from the show.
I was hoping she'd present them in the prize task for the series finale. Maybe that was her original plan, but she couldn't figure out how to fit them into the category.
I would've switched clothes with Alex; then he should hide in a very bad spot, where it's pretty obvious, BUT you shouldn't see his face. I would cassually stand somewhere else (on the picture) and looking in his direction (away from the camera). So hopefully everyone would've thought Alex stood there.
Thank you! There are so many great shows we just can't see because whoever owns the copyright is an asshole, and is just waiting for a ridiculous offer or something like that. When in reality, if they just put it on UA-cam or Netflix or something, they could be making money off of it!
Honestly this is my favourite task, the sheer inventiveness of the green-screen banana suit in the fruit bowl, getting your followers to show up in a specific outfit and even the bloody door or grass poncho is exactly what I would love to see more of as the show continues to get made. Absolutely brilliant television, well done.
Yeah, I was surprised when they gave her such a hard time about it, when she was so hard to find, and had interpreted the challenge in such a way that she made it much harder than anyone else did. Hugh basically just cheated so I would have put him last, Joe and Loly both did real camouflages though I think Joe's was more successful and cleverer, and I can't decide if I think Noel's was camouflage since he changed the environment, which isn't really camouflage. It was either cheating or brilliant...

Ten minutes? How did Joe acquire those identical outfits and change that many people into them in ten minutes? Similarly how did Noel get a yellow outfit and do that photoshoopping in ten minutes?
It seems like Joe planned the camouflage and posted the tweet in 10 minutes and then took the photo in a later ten minutes. The tweet was posted at 5am and asked for people to come at 2pm.
@@howardbaxter2514 They're very strict with their timings. In this case, there was no specification that the ten minutes of planning and the ten minutes of execution had to be done consecutively.
UA-cam recommended me this clip because of Noel Fielding, and since I first saw this clip I've binged every episode of Taskmaster on UA-cam. This is the one time the algorithm has worked in my favor
I love how this show makes you take the prompt and think of out of the box but task-legal ways of executing it. You have 10 minutes to plan your attempt and 10 minutes to execute it? Didn’t say it had to be in the room, didn’t say you couldn’t use that planning time to request that the editors edit you into a fruit bowl after getting footage of you pretending to be a banana!

This is the best cast of contestants for Noel’s attempt. Any other series there’d at least one over-competitive person trying to argue against the validity photoshopping yourself into a picture.
It’s basically just do whatever you want as long as it doesn’t break the rules written on the task. Creative interpretation of the task is often encouraged / rewarded if it gets better results.
I was hoping Mel would say let's see the footage of me revealing myself and it turn out that wasn't her but the greatest misdirection you'd never expect have that be Alex dressed as Mel
My idea would've been to do a camoflage like Lolly did but place Alex in the camoflage. Whilst I put on Alex' clothes and hold his tablet looking away from the camera but at the camoflage. So everyone would joke about the obvious camoflage and not suspect, that actually I'm even more visible.
Just in case you missed it, the most points are awarded based on who is the most clever or funny, not the most 'proper.' Way to go outside the box, Noel!

I think Noel's manipulation was done before the photo was taken, so there was no alteration of the final shot in post-production. Still not entirely sure how he did it, though.
I think the door was acceptable. But only because it was unhinged, and he was wearing it. So he was actually COVERING himself with the door (like the definition says)

This is one of those tasks where there was 5 very different solutions, so great, always worth a rewatch
