This song came out as a "single" , which are those little 45 RPM records with one song on each side... the "flip" side of Strawberry Fields Forever" was another great song with a great video.. called "Penny Lane", and i think you would also enjoy watching that
The original video for Strawberry Fields Forever was shorter than the full length of the song (which is why all you see here is a loop). It was a way to promote sales of the single years before music videos became a thing in their own right. There's no limit to what you can learn about the Beatles, even from just this one song. Along with its complement Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields Forever represents the band at the height of its studio experimentation. If you're a music history or recording enthusiast, it's definitely worth looking up how this single was put together (it was a mash-up of two takes in both different keys and different tempos, the second with orchestral backing). Or if you just like great music, ignore all the nerdy stuff and explore the Beatles' catalog for some of the greatest pop-rock music ever crafted.
Wow! For starters, this looks like a loop of the last 10 seconds of the whole video. There's a whole lot that you are not seeing. If you familiarize yourself with the story of John Lennon's childhood, you will see that the song is about how he retreats to the memories of living with his aunt Mimi whenever he is overwhelmed with anxiety and depression.
You're obviously right about the loop, but based on their comments (e.g., "jumping out of trees), they *were* watching the entire video, but for whatever reason, it wasn't presented in our view (maybe to avoid getting blocked?).
Loved your reaction. Happy New Year.
Thank you for watching and we hope you stay tuned! Happy New Year!!
You two are a wonderful pair. Lets all enjoy the Beatles together.
Thank you so much! We can't wait to react to more Beatles songs!

As I understand it, Strawberry Fields was a graveyard in Liverpool. The line "living is easy with eyes closed" is probably a picture of a corpse.
No. Strawberry Field was a Salvation Army children's home in Liverpool. Lennon and his friends used to play in the wooded garden behind the home.

Not much to react to there.
I dont think you know what this song is about.
Youre watching the video, not listening to the words.
