This brings back memories of when we moved to the Philippines in 2006. As a child seeing the kids splash and swim in the streets during rainy season was the most amazing thing I've seen. Of course my Lola didn't allow us to "swim" but I did take showers in the rain. In the US and the other places we've live at, people don't shower in the rain and smile happily. They avoid it as if it's acid! Anyway, I loved dancing in the rain with the kids in our neighborhood. I felt like I was one of them and not a foreign kid. I missed that part of my childhood in the Philippines. My brother is moving to the Philippines next year with his family. Hopefully, their kids can experience what we had in the Philippines!
I missed it, too. Soon when I retire, I can spend more times visiting the Philippines. Even, I am now a senior, I will take a rain shower in the Philippines.
In the 60’s in the Philippines that’s how the rain pours already from heaven specially the typhoon season. Of course, those years passed the drainages was in places already and yet the water rain increase so fast but you cannot help it .. by just measuring only the volume of it after. The garbage was manage already there was daily collections in the city and other districts of Manila. But maybe this time, people should learn about it and be discipline about it.
Not many countries in this world where you get a free swimming pool in front of your doorstep. Monsoon rains bring a lot of relief but damage as well. Philippines seems to be a happy easy-going nation.
This vidio is nice thank you theres nothing like water rain birds trees for piece i love the rain and the wayer this is nice good vidio relaxing with no music to mess it ip. This is all natural life. Thanks water and rain are relaxing i watch over and over
Filipinos are the most resilient people in the world. Despite all the weather related calamaties they endure, they always have happy smiling faces, making the best of a bad situation!!
I've been in a few Typhoons when visiting the Philippines. You get seriously wet!!! Umbriellas and Raincoats don't work either especially during Rainy Season!! Lol..... 🌧⛈🌦☔🌧🌦⛈☂
For what reason, I always have loved heavy rains such as this. Family and friends would gather together inside and eat. Food seemed our common comfort. Taho and coffee are in endless demand. My favourite is always pancit sandwiched in pandesal.
When this happens in America they declare a natural disaster and emergency responders move in to help. When it happens in the Philippines they go out and play in the flood
Such fond memories of my childhood years in Vietnam just like how it was in the video. Now in America and in my 50s. I would walk, waddle, get drifted in the water neck high all over again. It's rather cooling. Love it. ❤❤❤
In America, with only foot foot-deep flood, you cannot buy fuel in the gasoline station, because of panic. If they only knew how deep is the flood in the Philippines and yet we are relaxed and happy. 😂😢😅
I watched another video of yours crazy how all the homes are really close to each other the little baby playing in the flood has to be carefully the flood doesn't wash him away . thanks for sharing these videos good to see videos of other countrys and a different way of living crazy how the flood literally turns into a river I'm from the US. Was it warm there during the rains? Nobody seems cold. Are the buildings designed to take in 3 ft. of water? Are all personal belongings in the buildings elevated? All I could think of is how homes and businesses would be ruined BUT everyone here seems happy and accepting of the torrential rainfall. It doesn't seem like a disaster at all (judging by the people's acceptance of the deluge).

Because modern rain is polluted 😂 it’s natural they avoid it. We would avoid it in manila especially.
God bless you.
Keep that healthy mind and I wish your brother and his family the best in PH.

If corruption could be eliminated and efficiency lifted there would be plenty of money for proper drainage and other vital public infrastructure.
Agreed! I wish the politicians would do their job for once and care for the common people. There is no reason for these floods to occur.
You said that maybe because you live in a country that have all
Well Vietna also experiencing floods.
You're just saying that because you live somewhere else that has all that stuff that happens there not many of us are fortunate
