I dont go full AP. The first 3 items alone can 1 shot a squishy. I go defensive item for 4th and final item.

Full ap you can oneshot some bruisers aswell

Instead of using domination rune, use either overgrowth or bone plating, gives him enough sustain and he has already enough damage

The issue with full ap build is you need to have a good team cus you can get one shot as well not one shot but not tank like before so if your team has good engage then it's good

with this new jax i gotta say he is much harder to use now cause of how squishy he is. I have not used jax in top since his rework cause i just don't know what to build on him and without grasp of undying and second wind you lose so much tankiness so jax top is dead for me and i can't play jungle so looks like i need a second main champ for top unless we get some ap tank items i don't think jax top is viable
