Nice vid, thanks! We got our first Lodge just a month back. It's a 10.25 & the wifey wanted a slightly smaller one just for eggs. Was battling between the 6.5" & the 8". The 6.5" was delivered today and I just feel it's so tiny (the base is just 4") & wanted to return it but the fact that you have a 5" too gave me hope that this may work for us, but I would have preferred the 8" (6" base).
Running a few seasoning cycles now, tomorrow the eggs go in 🤞🏻

Soap is safe for cast iron.

Half the time, you can’t fit two French toast into a normal skillet anyway…
Flat griddle on the cooktop is the way to do that.
