Mark Richards of Rocket Chassis and Mark Richards Racing takes us on a tour of his facilities in Shinnson, WV. Videography by Mike Kark. An Auto Expo Magazine video.
Remember when you worked for Rodney Combs at WRC back in 85 That’s when I worked for George Moreland in Waldorf Maryland. Then in 90-91 I built my own street stock G body at his shop. Winning the championship that year. Remember going to Winchester and Potomac with George until I started racing myself.
Cool video! I pass there every time I go to my grandma's about 3 miles down the road. Wanted to stop for the last 25 years and just never have. Appreciate the tour and awesome to see Bshep turning wrenches!
Mark i met you back in 99 Granger Howell and i bought a couple cars from you then he left for circumstances what would it take to get him and Joseph joiner in to rocket race circuit to race for the house my name is john i came up picked up both cars brought them back drove red 95 chevy one on the bottom one on the top of trailer we like rocket chassis just couris
I drove by the race shop this summer on a family vacation going to south Carolina next time ill have to bye and check it out I am a huge dirt track racing fan from western pa
Well, we do our best.... but we publish a printed magazine... video makin' is just a hobby for us... we thought what Mark was doing there was really cool and maybe some folks who read our magazine would find it cool too!
Maybe, Mr. Richards is a busy man and is not all that fond of being on Camera and/or he kept trying to Monkey with the Video Equipment, thus, making it difficult to conduct a proper Interview.
Didn't hear a word Mark said. These Buildings look cluttered with minimal room to walk through. Rayburn & Moyer have much cleaner more organized work shops than this.
I only "liked" your comment due to your last Sentence. Shop clutter and Audio difficulties are not my forte. I, already, fell down, anyway. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!
Super cool. Thank you.
Thanks to Mark for his contributions to the sport. Congratulations on the championship
Rocket chassis are the best

It's funny to see how fast everyone starts working when the boss is around.

Couldn't help but notice no one using safety glasses while cutting, drilling or even welding....smh.
Are you their Parents and/or Guardian and/or Supervisor? I thought so.
@@ihavefallenandicantreachmy2113 I hope you are not as ignorant as your comment.
@@raymondchapman5990 Good answer.
Pretty amazing what it has grown into
I have been there and the parts room is huge
What is that flare around the front wheels supposed to do?
I believe for side down force
Couldn't they find someone who could conduct a better interview? Maybe this was his very first ever interview.
