Two things. The 2018 Rockets team was spectacular. They were a force to be reckoned with. They were all clicking on the right cylinders and everyone was on the same page, the efficiencies in defense and offense was paramount when you saw this team play that season.
1. GSW was a juggernaut that season, especially adding KD to the mix. Still agreed that that was the softest move in nba history. Even though they were as great as they were, the Rockets had offensive fire power to match them and actually had them down.
2. Chris Paul injury, we all know the Rockets would've won if cp3 would've never went down with that injury in game 5. Plain and simple. Gsw couldn't contain the Rockets at their fullest strength, they could only win with a major injury, just like with most of their rings. MAJOR INJURY took place against a serious component for them to get a easy ride to a championship. Happened in 2015, 2017, and 2018 with CP3. Weak championships, but nevertheless, championships. The only championship I truly respect from the Warriors was the Boston championship, the rest was too easy and a lot of luck because of injuries. Rockets were the real champions that year. End of story!
