He posted a comment on a video where the guy locked himself to the volcano and Brimhaven chunks, he knows already. He was either done with the grind or had gone too deep to quit at that point.
I really like this concept, I was going to suggest the blighted supplies for the seren fight- but you already mentioned them. If this were me doing this and I wanted to maintain the integrity of the series but not put myself through a grueling hellscape (I don't want to backseat, but I find the concept very interesting)- For mining/smithing. mine til 70- then buy ores in blast furnace to get the remaining smithing xp(could repair mlm water wheels for xp as well). smith yourself some nails for early construction, knives for the seren fight, and then the remaining on things you can alch in the future for gp. Herblore- theive master farmers for herb seeds, belladonna seeds, snape grass seeds, limpwurt seeds, any other seeds that can be used for herblore supplies. Herblore can also be trained by using anti-poisons on broodoo victims with the anti-poisons bought from the general store nearby. Maximize on easy potions that use things like "eye of newt", "unicorn horn dust", "red spider eggs", etc. Range- use your range xp to kill unicorns, chaos druids, anything that drops herblore supplies. Construction- pick up planks in port khazard for some easy starter planks, then use woodcutting to get yourself some oak planks and convert into planks near varrock. Once 60 woodcutting you could use the sawmill in the woodcutting guild if you allow yourself to get zeah, but if not just stay in varrock. Hunter- besides catching kebbits to make hunter potions, I don't really see too many ways to optimize it into getting xp for the other skills, maybe using implings to get planks/gear to help with the seren fight, but I don't think it will be needed as GP isn't really an issue for you. Magpie implings will be the easiest way for you to obtain the runite bar for the SOTE quest. Mage- For the seren fight you're going to need mage unless you're some sort of giga-gamer. ibans staff with mystic robes would be the most reasonable option here in my knowledge, but you should be able to do it with lower defence if you wanted to use lower-tier robes, I would say 60-70 mage would be a reasonable amount to attempt seren with. Since you've got some mage xp to obtain, kill salarin the twisted with fire strike to obtain sinister keys to get a lot of herbs to use for herblore. Many of the herbs you get through this have secondaries that can be obtained through methods listed above. Crafting- You're likely going to need 56 crafting for phoenix necklaces for the seren fight( and 57 magic to enchant them). Just buy molten glass supplies from charter ships. Possibly test without them on a main, but I think not having them is going to make you run out of supplies since you don't have access to blood magic. Prayer- the esyllt fight is going to need 43 prayer for protect from melee unless there is some cheese method you are able to do, and seren will be very difficult without 40 prayer. You're likely going to need to train it. Could go 45 for mystic might, but mystic lore will drain much less prayer points and could be preferable for a likely 7-9 minute seren fight. Attack- You're going to need 50 attack for the ibans staff. Kill same monsters as listed above in the ranged section. Seren- using an ibans staff with phoenix necklaces, knives for the healer crystals that spawn, and nightshade from the belladonna patch will make this a very possible fight. just use the nightshade to damage you to proc the phoenix necklace on the attack that takes 97%+ of your health and it will cancel the damage. Hope any of this helps, good luck on your grind to start your chunk! I'd guess you could do it with 920-930 total depending on where you get your hp and magic level.
@@snoepertrooper3482 I don't think I would make a good life coach, I'd likely just suggest you to play more old school runescape. If you're watching the osrs section on youtube, you probably already know that you need to play more old school runescape.
One thing is I would probably just make an exception for the giants foundry quest. You could switch to the uim method of making mith body's in blast furnace after 68
@@lostconfig7812 would require starting a quest but not completing it, ideally any ore store that doesn't require a quest start would be ideal, but my knowledge on stores that sell ores beyond the blast furnace one escaped me at the time of writing that.
Priff is my favorite place in the game, so I'm very excited to follow this series! I love the unique challenges you're taking on too, and the production value on this episode is great!
Very excited to see the series. Best thing i can offer is that i really like when chunk accounts keep you aware of what grinds are potentially coming soon and how you got to current grinds. Its easy to forget when watching a lot of series at once.
Yeah this feels really promising, really nice and pretty polished editing style as well. Very good flow. Definitely excited for the next Episode. Prid is also a really cool starting chunk.
i've also thought of making a prif chunk but saw the requirements and shot myself down real quick thinking it was impossible; It's really awesome to see someone actually daring to make such a unique account, looking forward to seeing how your account is going to end up once you finish SOTE / Mourning's End!
Paused at 4:52: I don't see how you could possibly beat Seren at a low level without Phoenix Necklaces. Those don't drop anywhere, so you'll need to enchant them yourself, which naively would put the minimum at 57 magic. I think the best boost obtainable without additional quests/skills would be the bandages from TOB entry mode (only requirement to enter is Priest in Peril which is already a prerequisite for SOTE), which brings the magic requirement down to 53. It may be possible to get it down slightly further if you can smuggle a boost out of LMS or something like that, idk. Diamond necklaces are the next obstacle. A crafting requirement of 56 is out of the question. They can be obtained from a few places but not without either gaining levels or completing quests, or both. My preferred choice would be the HAM storerooms, which requires Death to the Dorgeshuun to be started (and 3 minor quests to be completed, one of which is Rune Mysteries which is a common exception for many chunkmen so they can lamp RC anyway) but would not push up the total level at all. If you use HAM storerooms as your main thieving training method, I think you'd be able to get enough necklaces for multiple attempts at the boss without pushing up your total level. The alternative would be Varlamore thieving which would push your total level up a bit and would also require a quest completion. For a weapon, the obvious choice is an Iban's staff which is obtained in the questline, but that would require gaining another 18 attack levels to equip it. Using Pest Control it's possible to train attack without gaining any other combat levels. I doubt it's possible to beat Seren with a weaker weapon due to her healing mechanics - with such low magic level and defence it's going to be tough enough already. So that's an extra 52 magic and 18 attack levels over the hard minimum requirements, which brings us to 932. I'll throw in 5 extra levels to account for exp gains during the quest, so my final answer is 937 total level. If you can beat that I'll be very impressed, even moreso if you beat 932 which seems pretty impossible to me at first glance.
Wow, you really did the maths :) I don't want to comment too much so I don't spoil any videos, but I had a lot of fun thinking about these things and planning out the stats and gear like this.

Gonna just dump a bunch of ideas for Herblore XP. Some of these are non-starters because they have quest requirements but worth a shot anyway. - Sorcerer's Garden can get you herbs with only a tiny bit of Farming XP granted. Requires Prince Ali Rescue. - Handing in Goutweed can get you herbs for no XP in any other skills. Requires Edgar's Ruse and would probably be slower than the Agility Arena. - Mastering Mixology in Varlamore gives more XP per Herb than just using the herb and requires no secondaries. Only requirement is Children of the Sun which is a very small quest with little reward so probably not that big an addition to your "Low%" approach. It does require 60 Herblore but that's still a good chunk of your grind made easier. - Doing Children of the Sun would grant you Hunter Rumors, which could give you some herbs from 52 Hunter upwards. That's all I've got just in the tank. Good luck trying to find something more substantial but I'm pulling up blanks for an "XP free" way to get Herb XP banked.
I was actually theory crafting how to do exactly this. I shared it a few places online, wondering if you saw a post of mine or if you thought of it at the same time. Regardless, I don't think I would've had time to record an actual series so I'm glad someone is doing it!
Only halfway through the video rn but thought I'd throw this out there as it might help some with the herb grind. There are NPCs west of Grand exchange called outlaws that have a decent drop rate of all kinds of herbs but only give 1/40th of combat xp
wanted to ask, not sure if i missed it in the vid - in a similar vein to other chunk accounts dropping all their tutorial island gear once reaching their starting chunk, are you dropping your bank after finishing SotE? loved the vid, looking forward to more
Big fan of this series - i'm a sucker for the Onechunkers. You mentioned right at the end, any tips to improve things? A little more ambient/background OSRS music, the right tracks can help set the vibe etc! Subbed - look forward to Ep 2
Oh heck yeah I was hoping someone would do this lol. I knew it would be conceptually a bit silly to start with such high of stats, but I still wanted to see it be done regardless. Very unique account fs. Can't wait
Imo the best way to do this series would be with a bronze man. You use all the most effective methods to get to priff that require trading, but keeping your cb as low as possible while doing it in a timely manner. Then once ur at priff wipe the acc of all items and play it like an iron. I mean it is a priff one chuck so starting with the minimal levels is more important than the journey to get into the chunk the acc is supposed to be about.
I gotta say man. I almost never comment. I dont like adding to the algorithm besides views and likes. But this time i have to say please keep going. I absolutely cant wait to see the challange that awaits in prif. I just unlocked it on my iron itll be really nice to do gauntlet and see how you take one such an amazing city ingame. I keep learning new things about it. I wish you the best of luck on your grinds. Ill be taking on those challanges right along side you.
I had this idea a year ago! I started a hardcore, did the base 70 skilling levels except a couple herb and smithing levels. I did agility through agility pyramid, so I could avoid the mark of grace collog, and that paid for my con grind quite easily. I was really intentional about avoiding collog slots, the only one I got was hespori seed. For herblore, I killed outlaws outside of the ge. It really wasn't that bad. Smithing I did iron mining in the guild, made rings of forging, and was going to finish it off with repairing the mlm struts. the unidentified minerals got me diamonds for the phoenix necklaces too. The only reason I stopped short was the wheat field north of priff. Puro grind is just terrible and I knew I would not enjoy it.
I had a similar idea to this awhile ago, I was going to do a Lletya chunk account but when I figured out I needed SotE I switched to a soul wars starting chunk haha. now I have another one chunk account to keep watching! Can’t wait to see where this series goes!
Excited to see how this goes, ive always wanted to see someone do a Prif onechunk! Also just a general UA-cam Channel tip. Currently, your Home page on your channel shows nothing, you may want to set it up to where your Videos show up there so it doesnt look like nothing's on the channel!
Sick series concept! I'm gonna guess 942 for the total level, accounting for Iban's and some unforeseen required levels for the Seren fight & supplies. Good luck!
Like the content and looking forward to more! A piece of feedback regarding the video is when you were introducing the agility activities, they were cool edits but they felt like they went a little too long. Otherwise I'm sure you will figure out the rest with time!
Great start to your series, loved the video! :D I would like to add that the transitions you used at the brimhaven and wilderness agility courses with the red text were far too long. :D
To avoid minning xp you could buy ores in blast furnace, it only takes starting the quest to get there. And you could gat tons of coal if you unlock misc kingdom.
I may be commenting too early, but Rendi has a great strategy for doing SotE with the earliest combat level. I am assuming you already checked it out, I hope.
I think fragment of seren will be doable if you do the phoenix necklace nightshade method and ibans blast. check out rendi's lowest level song of the elves completion video
In terms of chunk restriction integrity, this may be one of the worst possible starts with all kinds of quests, training progress, and music track unlocks outside of your listed chunks. But it's certainly unique, lol. Good luck on the account. Feedback: I'd suggest adding background music. If you want to really go the extra mile then you can consider playing with music off in game so you can record the footage with all the sounds from your actions but without the abruptly interrupted background music when cutting to other clips so you can use the ingame sounds where appropriate. If you still want to listen to music while playing you can use Application Audio Capture in OBS to capture just the game window (WARNING: test that it's picking up the audio every time when you start recording) so you can play music in a separate application like your web browser.
Thanks, appreciate the feedback, music is hard to get right. I will only be doing quests I have to for SotE but I won't really be a one chunk account until I get to Prif. More like Rendi's the lower the better series but if Rendi wasn't very good at OSRS. Hopefully I can show the integrity of the account once I am in Prif.
@@ClubsRS well, it can only have as much integrity as the base concept allows so that's all good. It's just a slight point of bother for those of us a bit more autistic. lol I'll be looking forward to seeing how it continues
My guess is like 1076 total level. Thinking you might have to do a good amount of gotr or something for magic levels and then probably do some extra defence training, fishing and cooking xp to have food that is good enough to survive the fight.
For herblore its a pain and requires an extra quest but sorceresses garden in Al kharid gives more herblore xp than farming. You hit 70 herb before 70 farm.
This is the account I would have made right before leagues 4 dropped if I didn't decide runescape was too much of a weight on my personal life. Looking forward to seeing what could have been in my cards had I gone thru with it.
Excited for this journey! One thing I didn't catch, will it be a one chunk start or full Prif start? Or is Prif a special case because of how the real city chunks work? It's probably obvious from the requirements but I'm a noob over here ^^'
I will be starting will all of Prif, which is how the Xtreme Onechunk rules work, as Prif isn't technically part of the over world, its a connected area. But I don't think its obvious and I will talk about it when I get there.
@@ClubsRS I've been doing half my runs t2 armor, and half t3, I always shoot for t3 bow and staff. With t3 armor it's super cozy I have done it with 6 food, and with t2 I get obliterated most the time eating up to 25 food, or 12 if I get really good rng. I can 5:1 but I don't risk it on the HC yet.
For herblore, would buying and using antipoison on Broodoo victims be the least amount of requirements for training it? I don't remember how much Verf did in Karamja Only, but it probably would be a lot of world hopping
Can you tick eat Seren? If so, maybe itd be worth getting 70 hunter through Puro Puro and doing clue scrolls for purple sweets along the way. Youll get collection logs, but clues are never part of chunk tasks anyway, so who cares long as you drop everything?
Just to check, is there actually some sort of easter egg in morse code in your chat input throughout the video or are those the keybinds you use for controlling your recording? And rs just also picks them up?
My guess for the best way of making herblore doable would be sorcerers garden minigame in al kharid, gives 2 herbs per run i think and only a small token amount of farming xp. Should give more herblore then farming xp atleast I think.
Hmm it seems like you ought to destroy your entire bank except for quest items once you get to prif... you could keep everything as it "technically" counts as being from prif because it's required to get there. On the other hand, you could have chosen methods to grind which gave you totally different items to smuggle in, or significantly less items. Idk. Just a thought. If destroying your bank makes the account miserable then maybe you probably shouldn't. But it would be more true to the spirit of the challenge
probably too late at this point, but if you care about music track unlocks you could prioritize skilling in chunks needed to unlock priff, but you'd have to balance that with keeping low total level i like the idea of starting in priff
Yeah, I gave up on the idea of avoiding music track unlocks, the quests require me to go so many places that even with the minimal chunks I will unlock a lot of music tracks. Hopefully I can show I am sticking to my chunks in other ways. Priff should be fun . . . when I get there.
You can train smithing for nearly free by utilizing giant's foundry. Granted that requires you to unlock it by doing the quest. This is because you can buy gear from vendors to smelt down in there. The most economical method involves buying mith claws which require a few quests to unlock... Going with other stuff will end up costing you more gold than you make from the activity though so you'll need more gold for this grind if you want to avoid mining as much as possible.
No idea what level it will take to reach Prifddinas lol, I'm one of those serial watchers who last played runescape (F2P only) in 2011. But these prequel episodes should be fun. Please do share whenever you run into a method that looked promising but was locked out e.g. achievement diary steps!

Thanks, I had forgotten I needed to do that. This has got a little more attention than I expected and I need to so these things out quickly.
Sick series concept! I'm gonna guess 942 for the total level, accounting for Iban's and some unforeseen required levels for the Seren fight & supplies. Good luck!
I swear to god the next one chunk I am going to see is a “max island locked chunk Ironman”
Great video cant wait for the next one
Fun fact, the upstairs bank is actually faster to get to compared to the basement bank you dont even have
Like the content and looking forward to more! A piece of feedback regarding the video is when you were introducing the agility activities, they were cool edits but they felt like they went a little too long. Otherwise I'm sure you will figure out the rest with time!
You honked me with the first cut scenes
Now this is peak content.
Canf wait for more
Such a good first episode
Man, this I going to be a juicy series!
1180 total until sote is done
Goodluck sir
I like this guess, much more achievable that some of the others :P
subscribed and good luck
Not that its not already, but once you get to priff this is going to be the best 1 chunk series
I was trying to find anyone, who makes Priffdinas locked (or xtreme one chunk), and finally I see this series.
I hope to see more of this.
Looking forward to this!
Don't forget the rabbit🐇
Great start to your series, loved the video! :D
I would like to add that the transitions you used at the brimhaven and wilderness agility courses with the red text were far too long. :D
Alright im in
New wintertodt potions give 7 herblore xp per potion if you have access to that :3
To avoid minning xp you could buy ores in blast furnace, it only takes starting the quest to get there.
And you could gat tons of coal if you unlock misc kingdom.
I love it!
It's just a slight point of bother for those of us a bit more autistic. lol
I'll be looking forward to seeing how it continues
My guess is like 1076 total level. Thinking you might have to do a good amount of gotr or something for magic levels and then probably do some extra defence training, fishing and cooking xp to have food that is good enough to survive the fight.
Giants foundry lets you level smithing without mining, just takes quite a bit of gp
Fixing the wheel in Motherlode Mine gives pure smithing exp without getting any mining exp.
Anyone else remember the like series from 5 years ago with the dude locked to this area - he got so far then just vanished, I was devistated
Turtle Tale?
Excited for this journey! One thing I didn't catch, will it be a one chunk start or full Prif start? Or is Prif a special case because of how the real city chunks work? It's probably obvious from the requirements but I'm a noob over here ^^'
I will be starting will all of Prif, which is how the Xtreme Onechunk rules work, as Prif isn't technically part of the over world, its a connected area. But I don't think its obvious and I will talk about it when I get there.
Could do agility pyramid for Money and buy legs/plate bodies for giants foundry
I’ve had this idea for so long but don’t do content myself, can’t wait for the progress! Sub and like everyone!
No way, my friend is doing the same thing. He is called «Priff chunk» 😂 although he only started with the zalcano chunk.
I found him at Zalcano the other day. We did a few kills and had a chat.
@@ClubsRS haha I might see you around then. I join him every now and then. Good luck on the series!
look up the uim giants foundry method on the wiki for a solution to the smithing:mining problem
I'm doing cg on my 1 def pure hcim @ ~65 combat, if you need any tips lemme know!
That sounds hard. Do you not get shredded at 1 def?
Are you doing Tier2 armour and 5-1? Or is there a better strategy?
@@ClubsRS I've been doing half my runs t2 armor, and half t3, I always shoot for t3 bow and staff. With t3 armor it's super cozy I have done it with 6 food, and with t2 I get obliterated most the time eating up to 25 food, or 12 if I get really good rng. I can 5:1 but I don't risk it on the HC yet.
You should consider dropping everything when reaching priff and actually starting fresh, good video though
Don't worry I will drop it all
Smithing is possible - there are bar spawns in the open world as well as planks etc
934 total level 🤙🤙
For herblore, would buying and using antipoison on Broodoo victims be the least amount of requirements for training it? I don't remember how much Verf did in Karamja Only, but it probably would be a lot of world hopping
Alright, I'm invested. Let's spend time on youtube for the next 6 years or so
2:13 What's that Sooty? 😂
Can you tick eat Seren? If so, maybe itd be worth getting 70 hunter through Puro Puro and doing clue scrolls for purple sweets along the way. Youll get collection logs, but clues are never part of chunk tasks anyway, so who cares long as you drop everything?
Unfortunately you can't, Rendi did a good video where he tested a lot of things like tick eating and other weird methods fight Seren.
Just to check, is there actually some sort of easter egg in morse code in your chat input throughout the video or are those the keybinds you use for controlling your recording? And rs just also picks them up?
Can you work out the code? . . . No, as you guessed it was just early days of using OBS and they were getting picked up.
My guess for the best way of making herblore doable would be sorcerers garden minigame in al kharid, gives 2 herbs per run i think and only a small token amount of farming xp. Should give more herblore then farming xp atleast I think.
Imo mahogany homes shouldn’t be aallowed once you get into priff because you can make planks there and you got poh there
banger
This will be good
Cant you do pest control without getting XP for herb boxes? No clue what the herblore xp wil be..
Curious if youll be keeping everything in your bank when you get to Priff or will you drop everything and start fresh once there?
100% dropping everything for a fresh start.
Can get pretty easy smithing xp without mining levels needed. Repair the wheels at the MLM. Not perfect but free smithing xp without compromises
probably too late at this point, but if you care about music track unlocks you could prioritize skilling in chunks needed to unlock priff, but you'd have to balance that with keeping low total level
i like the idea of starting in priff
Yeah, I gave up on the idea of avoiding music track unlocks, the quests require me to go so many places that even with the minimal chunks I will unlock a lot of music tracks. Hopefully I can show I am sticking to my chunks in other ways.
Priff should be fun . . . when I get there.
Soo…. What about that rabbit? With 2k hp?
Wait how does this work? 😂😂😂
889 will be your total level when you beat Seren, calling it
I assume you’ll drop everything when you get to prif?
Yes, its all going on the floor
Glad you enjoyed it. I am always amazed at how many people don't play OSRS anymore but still watch on youtube.
23:15 idiot, but we all been there 😂
