Miranda co-wrote this song with Jon Randle and Jack Ingram. Miranda was supposed to sing a different song that night on the award show. She knew Blake was going to be sitting in the front row so she told the band they were changing the song to Tin Man. It was a wonderful performance I really don't understand why this song was not more popular
Brother that recording of her doing this is the best version ive seen even better than the album version , and you are correct these verses and performance hit you right in the heart !!! good job man !!!
Excellent writing, excellent singer and instrumental, but most importantly it was the he best performance at the most important moment in time. Everything aligned!
I’m not a country fan but I remember this song performance. Very emotional. Great reaction and how you expressed the meaning. When I first saw it, I thought it was to Blake. I THINK, he did not stand, when she received her well deserved standing ovation. Nice video!
Pretty sure this was her first performance at an award show that her and Blake were actually present for since the divorce. Jack,Jon,and Miranda wrote beautiful underrated song.
This is one of the things about real country music...it's real, it's simple, and relatable. A few others I'd recommend is Tyler Childers - Nose to the Grindstone, Zac Brown - My Old Man, Chris Stapleton - Daddy Don't Pray, Brad Paisley - When I Get Where I'm Going, Matt Stillwell - Hey Dad, and Kenny Chesney - There Goes My Life. Thanks for the great content!
Miranda is an amazing lyricist i have been a fan since her Nashville Star days with Chris Young. This is my second favorite song of her. Bluebird is my first. Just gained a new sub. Loved the reaction.
The best song lyrics are simple and transcend to anyone who’s listening, no matter their past or circumstance. This is a perfect example of a beautifully written song ❤
She was slated to sing a song with her whole band called "We Should Be Friends" and she switched at the last moment. I had seen her live do this as her Encore in NH in 2017, so I already new it was going to be chillingly beautiful.
I just looked and couldn't find this version of the song on UA-cam any more...did they remove it? This is the best version she did! If anyone has a link to the version he reacted to, please post.
This is from the Album, Vice. I feel Miranda’s best work and she really exposed her pain and dealing with her demons. The song Vice is a must. Amazing songwriter!
I grew up listening to country when I was a kid in the 60s, real country. Waylon ,George Jones, Merle that crew. Grew older ventured into hard rock and metal, jazz, pop all over. Always return to country when I go see bands live. No hiding, no tricks and just straight up talent. That was a great vocal performance. Nothing over the top just pure emotion. It sells you feel it. Listen to this song 20 times you feel it every time
If you like this one...REACT to VICE by Miranda make sure you have the lyrics handy and really listen to them!! She is known as a bad ass and one who likes to drink a few, etc. But, that is AMAZING!! WATCH the Official music video for VICE, cause the video is worth it too!!😘
Yay!!!! Glad you reacted to this!! Yes about the split w Blake but also Yes- she is remarried!! She is SUCH an incredibly gifted songwriter; fantastic singer as well of course:) Thanks, Jimmy! Stay safe & love much💖
Many people have already answered, but yes, it was shortly after the divorce from Blake. She is happily remarried, to someone NOT in the industry. This acoustic performance was absolutely killer! I love Miranda, and I have just started listening, sometimes, to Blake. I do like his 2 most recent large hits, I honestly wish I didn't. I do not like him as a person, though. That's just me. Thanks for the reaction
So this is way late to the party but it always breaks my heart thinking about their divorce and Blake's relationship with Gwen Stefani because Miranda was such a No Doubt fan. When I saw her the first time, before she and Blake were even a thing, she played two No Doubt songs from Tragic Kingdom.
I was heartbroken when her and Blake broke up. They seemed so perfect together, but we don’f know shit. Obviously we didn’t know what they didn’t want us to know.

Wonder if he was the person she made a face at
Well, it got “Song of the Year” - that says a lot!!!!!🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏. Yes, she was grieving over Blake!!!!❤️❤️
Cuz she's not as cute or charming as Kacey Musgraves
Stop it.
Brother that recording of her doing this is the best version ive seen even better than the album version , and you are correct these verses and performance hit you right in the heart !!! good job man !!!
You're right that this was after the divorce with Blake. It really is an amazing song and glad you reacted to this performance of it.
This song was released about a year after their divorce. Who knows, he released a couple about her too, on the "If I'm Honest" album.
That girl can sing. And, she is a straight SAVAGE.
So glad someone finally reacted to this beautiful song by Miranda. She's great
Shes a woman's woman. When I was going through a rough time Miranda was there. "Mammas broken heart". 🥰
No auto tune. No voice distortion. Just a her and a quitar
Yes pure talent ❤️
Beautifully written. Amazingly sung. Kudos to Miranda. 👏👏👏👏👏🫶
One of the most heartfelt performances ever
Our little Texas Pistol had us all in our feels with this one. She got a standing ovation too.
This is my favorite song of hers. I bought the album this is on and kept this song on repeat for a long time.
How brave to sing such a personal song in front of that crowd of peers
With Reba staring ya down!!!!
Excellent writing, excellent singer and instrumental, but most importantly it was the he best performance at the most important moment in time. Everything aligned!

IMHO, this was probably Miranda's best song ever. Radio simply did not give it the air play it deserved.
She played that acoustic all by herself. She had that sad face. It’s about Blake Shelton who publicly humiliated her. I think that song won best song.
Pretty sure this was her first performance at an award show that her and Blake were actually present for since the divorce. Jack,Jon,and Miranda wrote beautiful underrated song.
Miranda's song "Vices" is another great one.
The divorce was final but the heart was still broken
One of the greatest country albums of all time. TWOTW’s was a tour de force.
You can’t help but cry. It’s sooo deep. Yes, she’s married now. 😉
She is singing the pain she felt at the loss of her marriage to Blake Shelton.
Her expression says it all.

Agree!!!
Feeling the emotion. Done with excellent focus
She must of had to sing this song so many times with out crying. 😢❤
Miranda is an amazing lyricist i have been a fan since her Nashville Star days with Chris Young. This is my second favorite song of her. Bluebird is my first. Just gained a new sub. Loved the reaction.

A very well written song man. It’s amazing what you can do with your voice, your guitar and a smart witty mind
You can see how real this is just looking at Reba and Ronnie dunn
She was slated to sing a song with her whole band called "We Should Be Friends" and she switched at the last moment. I had seen her live do this as her Encore in NH in 2017, so I already new it was going to be chillingly beautiful.
I get chill bumps every time that I hear this song. Good review.
Miranda is such a powerful singer. I love this song ❤
I just looked and couldn't find this version of the song on UA-cam any more...did they remove it? This is the best version she did! If anyone has a link to the version he reacted to, please post.
This song is a gut punch
6:42 “you give me your armor and your can have my heart” is such a killer line. So iconic.
stunning beauty and crazy talented
You aren’t wrong. This was hard damned writing. Excruciating. How she crawled this I’ll never know. Just thank God she did.
I cried my eyes out watching this live!! She is absolutely amazing
Miranda is Amazing!! Great song! Great reaction!!
This is from the Album, Vice. I feel Miranda’s best work and she really exposed her pain and dealing with her demons. The song Vice is a must. Amazing songwriter!

I love her song House that Made Me. Excellent writing
Me too...love it.
You should listen to her song “vice”. The lyricism of the song is incredible!
This is my all time favorite song from Miranda
ime looking for this version ! with no interuptions !
I LOVE this song! It's my favorite song by her.
I grew up listening to country when I was a kid in the 60s, real country. Waylon ,George Jones, Merle that crew. Grew older ventured into hard rock and metal, jazz, pop all over. I am the Tin Man and she broke my Heart!!!❤
She found her a very handsome young cop in NYC. She seems to be very happy, so does her ex cop.
I LOVE THIS SONG!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Gotta love Miranda! Fantastic song writer. This is one of my favorites. It won Song of the Year when it was released.
Is why so many of us love country music
love love loving your reaction videos. I have seen so many, but I am really liking yours a lot. :):):)
She did remarry and seems happy now. I don't like Blake near as much as I used to
Can feel the heart breaking 😢😢😢💔💔
You should react to vice by her. Also amazing writing. I think you would enjoy it.
Beautiful lyrics! Get ya in the feels 🥹
"This is the kind of song I can't have on my Playlist bc of my friends but, it's the type of song I need on my Playlist " 🤣
Miranda is badass!
I like your reactions…and your voice is very calming
How can people seriously hate country music
Your reactions are great man 👍
Need to check out “house that built me”
Black Sheldon and Gwen Stefani. Many people do not realize how deep her songs are.

She is SUCH an incredibly gifted songwriter; fantastic singer as well of course:)
Thanks, Jimmy!
Stay safe & love much💖
My favorite song
I always liked the Kenny Chesney song with the same name but this one is much more impactful.
That ink thiiiccccc 😅
Watch her video Settling Down. Her new husband is in that video.
She said”take your arm/take my heart”
It could be about Blake, could be a warning to quen. I think it's like all great music, it's about setting yourself free, letting go.
You have to know the back story!!!!!!
Cam - Burning House. Thought of it because she was in the audience at the end.
Ome of the best lyrics ever written
This song was written after Blake left her for gwen

You should react to someone called Red Solvine. One of his most known songs is Teddy Bear. One of my favorite songs of his is Roses For Momma.
That was amazing 👍
Love her!
She went to NYC and got her a handsome cop. He's not a cop now. She married him. Blake was in the front row.
I Love this song
More like her and new strings and what about Georgia are my favourite songs by her!!
Big heart ♥️
Got ya!
Tears me apart this song. I love Miranda
But now go find The Tin Man’s response to her.
She has remarried now ❤
Miranda Lambert is the best❤❤❤
She’s married now ❤
My favorite song🥺
I remember Blake Shelton was in the front row after their divorce.
I was heartbroken when her and Blake broke up. They seemed so perfect together, but we don’f know shit. Obviously we didn’t know what they didn’t want us to know.
You should hear Jack Ingram sing it he does a great job heard it live.
Is there a link to this actual performance?
