I still remember when I bought this in a second hand record shop in the 80s. Maybe it is forgotten when compared to the classic and iconic Autobahn-Computer World catalogue ( I wasn't aware it even existed at the time), but this is a beautiful album with some Eno like moments. It sounds so classical and european, like the soundtrack to a summer rainy afternoon in some imaginary european city in the 70s. There's a calmness to the music that makes me feel so good.
So. When I discovered as the only teenage DEVO fan in my high school, that there were these guys too! And RADIOACTIVITY was the first, before all the good stuff I knew! Then, in my 30's I hear AUTOBAHN! Oh!! Okay. Now today, I found THIS!
Álbum fantástico, não consigo achar esse vinil em lugar nenhum, mais continuo procurando!! Tenho todos os álbuns do Kraftwerk em vinil e em cd!! pioneiros da música eletrônica e pioneiros em tudo!! Deixaram um ótimo legado pra gente!! Estou ouvindo esse álbum nesse momento aqui em casa!!
Ciao Luca. Prendo spunto da questo video per scambiare due chiacchiere. Sono sempre stato affascinato dai moog e dai sintetizzatori (nel 1975 comprai un synt usato con cui mi sono divertito per anni a creare suoni) e riascolto volentieri questo disco, un classico della musica elettronica. Sinceramente ho sempre preferito i "Tangerine dream" tra i gruppi teutonici, per le atmosfere più cosmiche e una maggiore musicalità. I Kraftwerk sono comunque tra i gruppi pionieri di questo modo di fare musica. Complimenti ancora per il tuo canale. Un cordiale saluto. Massimo
Buonasera Massimo, questa volta il ritardo con cui ti rispondo è proprio grande e di questo mi scuso assai. Purtroppo questo periodo è per me molto pesante e, oltre a far fatica a portare avanti quel minimo di attività oltre all'occuparsi della casa, della propria alimentazione e così via, faccio anche molta fatica a comunicare col mio prossimo... Ma forse di questi problemi ti avevo già parlato in altri dei nostri simpatici scambi di opinione. Comunque anche a me non dispiacciono per niente i Tangerine Dream e, tantissimi anni fa, li ho visti -- se non mi sbaglio -- qui a Lugano; posseggo anche un paio di loro album. Anche i Kraftwerk li ho visti (e sentiti) al Palalido di Milano attorno al 1981/82, nella tournée di Computerwelt. Per quanto riguarda gli strumenti elettronici, quando, con mio fratello formammo una piccola band, acquistammo -- di seconda mano -- la famosa tastiera Elka Rhapsody 610 (con la quale mi divertii tantissimo e che fu usata anche dai Tangerine Dream, da Klaus Schulze, da Jean-Michel Jarre e molti altri) e poi, per qualche mese, fummo ospitati, per le prove, in un locale di un'altra band dove c'era un bellissimo Minimoog che potemmo utilizzare e che, anche in questo caso, fu per noi motivo di grande divertimento e piacere. @@user-ez5tu1do6m i think he fell embrassed by fact he was long haired or Soest live they made music sounding like farts and weird sounds it wasn't ideal like Ralf likes he gonna re record all album if it's not ideal but this album is not bad i like flute sounds but tanzmusik in album sound worse than live
"Ruck Zuck" was on the first "Kraftwerk" albun (no other title) from 1970. The famous cover shows a red-white traffic cone. The second album showed the same traffic cone, but with green-white stripes. "Ralf & Florian" was, I think, the third album. "Autobahn" was the next, and that brought them a wider publicity.
One of the greatest albums of all time, rest in peace Florian. All my love.

it's the first track on Kraftwerk 1, it's on youtube if you search. Up there with one of my favourite kraftwerk songs
