Supernatural Top 8 Dean Big Bad Kills Part 2
Supernatural story follows two brothers (Sam and Dean Winchester) who are out to kill every evil thing in this world. When Dean was 4 yrs old and Sam only 6 months old; their mother (Mary) was killed, their father (John) was determined to find and kill the demon who killed his wife. Raising the boys as "HUNTERS" of all things evil. Their motto: SAVING PEOPLE, HUNTING THINGS, THE FAMILY BUSINESS. After John's death the boys continue the family business with the help of a few other hunters and Supernatural allies like the angel of the lord Castiel and king of bell Crowley, traveling cross country, killing as many monsters as possible and saving as many people as they can. And at the same time they learn that "Family don't end with blood". They will do whatever it takes to save each other and their "FAMILY". Going up against demons, vampires, werewolves, shapshifters, bellhounds, Leviathans, Djinns, Ghouls, demigods, witches, Wraiths, Ghosts, Wendigos, spirits, Changelings, Jefferson Starships, Clowns, Scarecrow, the four horsemen, angels and even Archangels like Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael among other things. They lose family and find new people they call family. They have gone to heaven for each other and will do it all over again. Cause that's what FAMILY does and "Family don't end with blood". Follow the adventures of the awesome Dean Winchester and Sam Winchester who lost his shoe and is deathly afraid of clowns, on their journey to avert the next apocalypse and save the world. Don't forget the number one rule: No chick flick moments!

I wouldn’t really consider death a big bad. He’s easily my favorite “monster” in the series so I may be a bit biased, but I’ve always seen him as more of a guy just doing his job and he happens to meet these guys who keep beating death, like a lot.

Yeah, a "big bad" is a concept coined in Buffy the Vampire Slayer where each season had a main enemy but most villains lasted a single episode. spn had a similar format but it's main villains lasted longer than a season

I like that overcast look the series had in the earlier seasons. That greyscale look really set the tone for the series.

Imagine you're a badass powerful magic user who is pretty much untouchable, people have probably tried to shoot you before, so just because someone says they have magic bullets you aren't going to worry too much.

@@Wolfencreek Yep, one word: overconfidence. When you've been unkillable for god knows how long, you tend to not take a seemingly pitiful or little threat seriously. Someone said that the big threats are scary, but it's often the smallest threats that are the scariest - a threat so insignificant can later snowball and sneak up on you until it's too late.
The “Death of Death” always terrified me.
No Flash of light at first, no eyes glowing.
Its just a moment of shock, then realization… then the old man just crumbles…

Out of all the awesome kills Dean had, it’s hilarious that he’s this stoked about killing Hitler. Not the literal Gods, angels, demons, the only phoenix in existence, or even Death himself. He has his priorities straight

If you ever think about a Wendigo, think of its name as weenie dingo and they'll never scare you again. You ever do something and then have the little kid next to you do try to mimic you. Wendigos are the Monster version of that.

Our friends were raving about Supernatural (around season 7, I think) so we dowloaded season 1, then season 2 and 3 episodes in went in search of when it "got good". The response was "season 5" and I really couldn't be bothered watching more than 100 episodes of "not good" to get there.
Death didn't even care tho...
