You HAVE to wash it vs blow drying. Once it reverts, you can still rock it as a nicely stretch fro. I think it's nice that you took time away. I figure taking the time to film, edit, and post is exhausting so I don't mind you not posting frequently.

Hey, sis, Sending encouraging thoughts to you. Just went through a similar bout as far as experiencing the heat damage (from a 'professional salon').. It definitely affected me mentally. I also felt/feel like doing nothing with my hair, but I also know the only way it will bounce back is with God's grace and if I care for it. Did Olaplex work for you? Been trying to focus on moisturizing. Afraid to use strong protein and my hair felt dry upon 1st wash after silk press.
Hey girl I'd suggest you get olaplex 1 and 2 done in the salon. I had major heat damage and I got 2 olaplex treatments and my hair transformed in 2 months. No 3 didn't work for me at home
