Sri M Sashidhar Reddy Samarpan at Sivam (Jan-2020)_85th

Sri Sathya Sai Students (Alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions) are organizing an evening program entitled SAMARPAN on the 4th Sunday of every month at Sivam, Hyderabad (this month on 3rd Sunday). It is about re-living those moments spent with HIM, re-connecting with HIM and soaking in the Divine presence. We have an opportunity to listen to the Leelas of the Lord from the devotees who were blessed with Divine association through “SAMARPAN”
The Eighty Fifth SAMARPAN is being held at SIVAM on the evening of 19th January 2020. We are truly blessed to have in the "Dhanya Jeevulu" series, Sri Marri Sashidhar Reddy as the speaker for the day.
Sri Marri Sashidhar Reddy, born on 24th August 1949 at Hyderabad, is the illustrious son of Dr. Marri Channa Reddy, one of India’s tall political leaders who served twice as Chief minister of erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh & Governor of Uttar Pradesh. Sri Marri Sashidhar Reddy, a post graduate in Agriculture Science & Agrarian Economics, took to politics at an early age & represented the prestigious Sanathnagar constituency in Secunderabad, continually from 1992 to 2014. He also served as the head of the high-powered - National Disaster Management Authority of India at New Delhi, where he was responsible for formulating the Government of India guidelines that would ensure prompt and effective response to cyclones in any part of India. He was also the Convener of the National level Task Force on Naxal Violence set up in 2004.
The Marri family members have been ardent devotees of Bhagawan since late 1960’s and Bhagawan had visited their house at Tarnaka on several occasions during Swami’s annual sojourn to Hyderabad. As a CM, Dr. Marri Channa Reddy played an active role in facilitating the establishment of the Super Specialities Hospital at Prasanthi Nilayam & several other projects of Bhagawan. The experience of Bhagawan’s Leelas by Dr. Marri Channa Reddy’s family are numerous and are to be chronicled through the sharing of Sri Marri Sashidhar Reddy during his Samarpan program at SIVAM, this Sunday the 19th of January 2020. Incidentally, Dr. Marri Channa Reddy’s Centenary year Celebrations concluded recently on the 13th of January, 2020.
