I will always feel that it is inexcusable for a company-- a large company no less to send out an infected plant to a paying customer. Every last plant should be inspected and treated before leaving the seller's establishment. Other issues can be judged on a case by case basis. Receiving plants with crushed or broken leaves, plant size discrepancies, but never pest issues that not only comprises the health of the plant you spent your money on but also comprises the plants you own in your home. Seemingly 50 percent delivery success rate will keep me away from their website. I am sending you successful planty blessings for your plant purchases.
I really appreciate that. Thank you for your well wishes. Unfortunately it's not just companies, but it can be local nurseries that suffer from pests too. It's definitely a difficult subject to tackle. As some of us in the hobby are more experienced dealing with pests than people who are just getting into it. Although I agree that if someone is packing a plant, they should be able to see that there is a problem because it didn't take me long to find the spider mites. Maybe this and other issues should be something I talk about. Feel free to let me know what you think.
