This is my first time coming across this type of filter. On cummins engine , the centrifuge filter I worked on had disc.. and they are 76 discs in total.

Is paper filter a must for this operation? Without it could we hold the particles?
And my second question is; how much time did you guys filtered the oil before the cleaning on the video? How much hour it takes to hold that much particle?

Sir, Lub oil enter through nozzle? Isn't that the lube oil exits through the nozzle at high velocity to rotate the centrifuge?.. what we have learned is that lub oil enters through center stationary shaft, then to centrifuge chamber, and fills up the chamber and then exits filter and then through the nozzle at high velocity, which results in a reaction force to rotate the rotor.... correct me if am wrong
