If I'm being honest OP is a bit of a jerk. I understand it's awful to feel like second place to your sibling, but OP makes it clear he has a large support system (mom, step dad, siblings, grandparents) while his brother only has a mom and dad. If you have two children with an event at the same time, and one has a large support system and lives over an hour away, and the other only has you and mom and you live with them, it makes sense you'd go to the second one's event. OP admits his dad has been there for him quite a lot, and says his brother is on "a downhill trajectory" but the only examples he gives is that he has bad grades (yet he still graduated) and that he's a "loser", despite the fact that he says he and his brother get along. It sounds like his opinion of his brother is mostly just jealousy regarding the time he spends with their father. OP also pretty much admits that he gave the ultimatum to his dad even though he would probably go low/no contact anyways, just because he wanted his brother to see how it feels to be second place. The part that really makes this all seem correct is that he asked his dad to take him on a weekend trip that took place during an already paid for vacation to "prove a point", like yeah he is not gonna postpone a trip of thousands of nonrefundable dollars, that he may have already took time off work for (as well as potentially his wife) and that isn't about which son he cares about most.
yeah kinda but the "dad promised to teach the golden child how to drive first" was fucking insane 😂😂 OP might be a jerk but he kinda deserves to be one
@@nuclear_stardust well maybe if stepmom wasn't so jealous and bitter and more accommodating to OP and if dad wasn't so afraid of his wife being mad at him for being a dad to ALL HIS KIDS. But nope parents do this all the time whenever they have multiple kids "If you don't need help then you don't get the same amount of attention" like dad shut it and be a man
The dad is crazy that he got two girls pregnant 🤰🏼 at the same time
Story 2: smart for bro to fcking RUN. Claiming “violence” on his part when she’s the one getting in his face and screaming? Recipe for disaster.
This is so sad
As op should.
First OP: Honey, you are delusional.
"2412" 💀
