The papio is pretty much the only thing readily available where I live, can't decide if I want to buy one though... Currently have a deposit down for a Grom.
Go with the Papio. I kept waiting for a Grom and it kept getting pushed back. I grabbed the Papio and fell in love with it. Seeing it side by side with a Grom, the Papio looks way better, plus has a 6th gear that will allow you to do interstate speeds.
The speedometer is a little off on the Papio compared to the Grom, but the actual top speed is basically the same. When we tuck in we have gotten up to 70mph and even 75mph down slight hills. Most of the time we are cruising around 55-60mph
They're both great bikes, but I personally lean towards the Grom. You just can't beat the quality and reliability of a Honda, plus the aftermarket support is better for them. If you have one available to you, I'd go with the Honda
Yay! More Mini-Moto fun. How many miles do you have on the Papio now? I'm about to hit 200 today on mine. The only minor complaint on it is that I hope the seat gets a little more broken in soon. My skinny butt goes numb around 20 minutes into a ride.

Interesting to hear, no we haven't experienced that yet. Maybe you got unlucky with a gas cap that isn't venting properly? Thanks for watching!
