Gotta appreciate PSY allowing her to have to freedom to be what she's like. Most other Korean celebrities, especially Kpop stars are heavily restricted by their contract for literally everything they do, being very much like 1900s Hollywood. He should be a source of inspiration too. When he came out and that was the bravest thing ever, he almost got dropped from the industry. His coming out should've been the game changer but instead it became the warning to other LGBTQ artists. Of course there are others who have come out too but they all get sidelined and ignored.
I love how Jessi is always willing to let others out perform her. Like, she has no grudge if she isn't number one. She's real and all about just making fun content and being herself and her guest being themselves. This is how the Industry should be like.

I want to slap the people who used to say "Hong Seok-cheon, you're not a man", which I still remember seeing on certain variety shows in the past from certain specific people. He went through a lot and even helped everyone else during the difficult survival show in the jungle. After that show no one dared to tell him to his face that he's not a man and they started saying he's very dependable, and that in itself shouldn't be considered things only a man can do. I'm glad things have been changing a lot in the past few years.

This is 1 of the most progressive interview i've seen given that Korea is still a conservative country. Not diminishing the fact that Korea is slowly changing but to openly talk about LGBTQI...that's a start. 지금보다도 더 성 소수자에 대해 폐쇄적이던 시기에 커밍아웃 하신것은 늘 대단하시다 생각하고 있지만 과거에는 홍석천님이 동성애 이미지를 너무 희화하 하시는 느낌이 들어 나무 가볍다 생각했었는데 한번 더 생각해보니 그게 우리 사회의 문을 조금이라도 여는데 최선의 방법이 아니었던가 하는 생각이 들었습니다. 여러모로 대단하신분임

One of the best interviews on her show. I didn't know that Hong Seok-cheon is the first openly gay korean. It's about time to show some love to our Korean LGBT. Again good job Jessie and Jo Jung Sik. No wonder this show is super successful.
He should be a source of inspiration too. When he came out and that was the bravest thing ever, he almost got dropped from the industry. His coming out should've been the game changer but instead it became the warning to other LGBTQ artists. Of course there are others who have come out too but they all get sidelined and ignored.
