We decided to give our regulars a break and let them try a small sampling of the beers that America has to offer to see what they thought of them. A lot of these are some of America's most popular beers.

Should have given them America's top selling beer, Bud Light. Then they would find out what REAL crap is.
Best beer on the planet.
Most garbage beer on the planet besides Milwaukee's best
I can agree that Milwaukee's best... and keystone are pretty terrible. But Bud Light? Hell nah. I like a beer that I can drink as a beverage with about damn anything. Popcorn? Bud Light. Pizza? Bud Light. Fried Chicken? Bud Light. Hell a damn Mixed Green Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette Salad w/ Blue Cheese? Still a Bud Light.
It ain't bitter, it tastes good, it doesn't overpower the food, and it's not overly alcoholic. Sorry but I'll pass on the whole bitter as a lemon peel 8% craft beer scene. If I wanted to drink something foul tasting and get drunk as shit I'd just swig down some mezcal.
Denys A Budweiser isn't an American beer.
grvonny Yes it is. The factory is write here in St. louis.
Those cups are like the ones you get from the dentist for the fluoride wash. THAT AINT NO SOLO CUP 😤
Hella they have no idea 🤣🤣
Thats why they said "these are regular drink cups we are just really big giants." :)
SC - or for a urine sample
Do you think Solo makes only the 20 oz red cups?
( remember - the irish drink their "pints" warm ... Imagine drinking a WARM, FLAT ... american beer ... served in a CHEAP plastic cup. ( not even close to what is served in america ! )
They should've tried Moonshine....Not because I think they'll like it, but because they'll have a huge, entertaining reaction to it.
+matrix86 that was buzzfeed. White lightning is the shit tho. Made right, it's basically a liquid muscle relaxer
there's a drink in Ireland called potín (pronounced potcheen) which is basically moonshine.
+Roxyricki Moonshine is actually a direct decedent of Potin, manufactured in the early twentieth century by the Irish mob during the Prohibition era.
+Roxyricki Poitin is wheat, rye, or barley spirits. Moonshine is corn.
Bob Papadopoulos corn was more readily available in the US than wheat, rye or barley which is why it was substituted for the aforementioned grains.
"america's beer is like america's popular music not good... " as he literally looks like every 80s american rock band lol
J W not a problem, he suits it. lol 👀
I agree with the guy. Our popular music is HORRIBLE
I do not think he was speaking of 80s rock, I think he was talking about the cookie-cutter, soulless, talentless crap they piss on you with these days.
Just think Top 40 of any era.
Being a musical suave with some experience, I’d say from the 1940’s to the mid 1980’s was America’s top decades for music. Today doesn’t hold a candle to them bygone artists!
They kept saying how thoughs cups were at American frat party’s but those aren’t real red solo cups😂
2 kewl
They're getting false info and some bad beers
Barrier Boy I mean...no you didn’t get the joke, he said “these are actually the America red frat party cups, we are just really big”
We Irish are Giants.
Like everything in America, it’s actually two or three times larger.
That's not even a solo cup guys... lolol
+ThereGoesKJ That was the joke that they made
Oooooooooooh snap
+ThereGoesKJ other countries actually sell knock-off red solo cups for the purpose of people hosting "American Parties" Because the rest of the world see us use them all the damned time in movies.
+ThereGoesKJ Sure it is. Didn't you hear him say they are just really big people.
+arcanask it's not just the size tho...
This channel is way better than Buzzfeed, hands down.
The comment section is better too. Far less horrible dick bags.
+Owen McCauley Agreed.
+KaregoAt Colon cancer is better than buzzfeed.
I'm just wondering why we're making them taste so many truly awful American beers. I mean, this is a country with literally thousands of breweries, making everything from the delicious to the unspeakable, and we subject them to things like Miller, Budweiser, _and_ Coors Lite, all in one sitting?
There might be some international convention being violated here.
+Yonatan Zunger Its because those three are the highest selling beers in the U.S so that is why they choose them
Justin Cherry I'm mostly just embarrassed for the US here. It's like having your family represented by its most obnoxious members. :)
Nadia Mohamed True. Sigh. We may need to send Ireland care packages of decent beer. :)
Nadia Mohamed Of course, in the name of fairness, we could simply make it a beer exchange program. :)
+Nadia Mohamed They actually asked their American subscribers on snapchat to recommend different American beers.
Are you guys like the Irish Buzzfeed?
They're wanna be American Buzzfeed . Because America is the best fucking country the entire world
+Eduardo Castillo ya America is great no flaws you gotta love the health care... oh wait.
+Mary M well that's pretty unoriginal
+Kenny Jefferson No this is way better than Buzzfeed.
+Chris Kim they do the same exact stuff & title their videos the same exact thing, what's the game changer here?
Sam Adams and Brooklyn Lager aren't all that bad, but all of these beers were lagers. I'd like to have seen them throw some proper ales or stouts in the mix. And some west coast craft brews like some Stone, Lagunitas, Firestone Walker, North Coast, etc brews. Although I'd imagine west coast American craft brews aren't exactly easy to find in Ireland, but if you could find some it would make an entertaining video.
Maybe you guys could do a part 2 video "Irish People Taste Test American Craft Brews" if you could get ahold of some?
thats what im talking about!
I hear New Belgium is a macro brew now. They may be able to get a hold of some of that. Craft brews are so much better!
+Grarder You can be craft and still have macro circulation. Sierra Nevada is kinda macro now that they opened up an east coast brewery, Lagunitas was bought by Heineken, Stone is opening a brewery in Germany, but at least theyre brewed using the craft-style. At least theyre not faux-micro like Blue Moon.
That's why I said New Belgium. There's quite a few macro craft brews. You know more of them than I do clearly. Agreed on Blue Moon!
+Grarder im just a nerd, beer just happened to land withing my wheelhouse.
Next time, give them:
.Colt 45
.Odee
.Old English
.Three shots of straight Hennessey
and two zig zags.
Fuck u two for putting that song in my head!!!
Shot of fireball
Brooklyn Lager? Am I the only one who's never heard of this? Not a real question.
Aland Gomez then you’re not a real craft beer fan
@@bingevintage8124 Well I already knew that lol. My point was I'd never heard of it.
Never heard of this either .. & I live in Brooklyn !
@@bingevintage8124 as the first couple clearly state ... " ummm - 8% alcohol content - tastes more like sheet mixed with dirt ; must be a 'craft beer' ." ... " omg - we were right ! "
@@tsvandyke My sentiments, exactly.
Beer taste like shit to me. I don't understand the flavor at all.
ikr!
+Kuma El Negro Have you tasted ale?
Matthew Mitchell that suppose to be fruity right? the types I tried probably were not ale.
Kuma El Negro Ales have many different flavours. Not all are fruity though they can be. You can have various flavours that come through such as caramel, bread, citrus, smoke etc. Real ale has a nice smooth texture because it does not have artificial carbonation, and can have complex flavours from a secondary fermentation. There are many different styles of ale including bitter, IPA, amber, blonde, stout etc. Ales are very diverse, so it's worth giving several different ones a try to see if you like them. Ale is very different from lager.
+Kuma El Negro So do you prefer Summer's Eve or Massengill?
“I can feel te mockin’ the schwez an te...” might be the most Irish thing anyone’s ever said.
Budweiser used to my favorite beer, then I tried Sam Adams and realized I wasted the majority of my young adult life drinking shit.
there's nothing wrong with Budweiser, provided that Guinness Extra Stout is unavailable. If I can't get Guinness, I will drink Budweiser with no hesitation. Coors original ("The Banquet") is even better in my opinion. Modelo I like as well. Mexico is in North America after all. Negra Modelo is quite good.
Samual Adam's beer is awesome!!! I've only found a couple of their beers that I didnt like!!!
Used to drink Budweiser when I was 14 at parties does the job but as you grow up you realise how shit it is 😂
James Roper I’m glad you converted brotha Sam Adams is by far my favorite American beer
Steven Meatsandwich true there’s two at the top of my head the winter lager and summer ale they should really stay away from seasonal beers
I'd like to try 2 Irish women.
wanna share?
Carson Myers never
Matt Dickey Most aren't very good looking. The pale redhead Irish woman is a myth.
Excepting that this very video features a pale, red-headed Irish woman?
Robert Holman Haha, the fair skinned redhead Irish woman is a unicorn. Been to Ireland dozens of times, have yet to see one.
Where was the Shiner Bock from Texas?????? Hmmmm?
Stephanie Cox THANK YOU!!!! my absolute favorite
Stephanie Cox fuck texas
@@eastbeast6275 now that wasn't very friendly...
@@eastbeast6275 I'm gonna send Clint Eastwood after your ass cause he likes Shiner Bock. 😀😀😀
@@lmnopotay7433 lol
I like how as time goes on, they enjoy them more and more - likely as they get tipsier and tipsier. It's always best to be the last drink in a tasting!
Coors Banquet is so much better than Coors Light.
still real shitty man... i feel bad your taste buds are all fucked up
forgotn1 They taste pretty much the same. Coors banquet has slightly more body but that’s about it. Don’t get me wrong though, I love shitty American beer.
Its better then the light but still doesnt mean its good i drink it but i want better and will pay for better
Yeah, it's just called Coor's. There's a difference between Coor's and Coor's Light
@@666dynomax don't let anyone who likes hockey talk shit about someone's taste lol
I think this is the most positive review of common American beers I've ever seen.
I love how red head says coors light Curs light
so cute they think those are proper red cups! aaaa. those are total knock off. SOLO cups are white inside and have ridges to let you know what;s an oz, four oz and 16oz
For real
They knew they weren't. He even said "These are proper American red solo cups, were just really big". Acknowledging they were smaller than they should be.
L
wait is that really what the lines are for?
The ridges, yes. It's to measure specific drinks/pours.
My step uncle is Irish, shout out to my uncle Ryan and his new husband John their one year marriage anniversary is in a couple of months!!! So we went to Ireland for the wedding and after a lovely ceremony that I cried at like the wee sensitive soul that I am. After the ceremony we went to a house on the farm that the wedding was taking place before the reception dinner was ready. With stuff like coffee, finger food and some beer. But low and behold after we come in later after we the family were done taking pictures, to see the beer on offer for this reception pregame was Budweiser. Now I like Budweiser for a short time it was my favorite, but I was flabbergasted. Of all the rich beer culture in Ireland…y’all are drinking what most beer snobs don’t even consider beer. Turns out Irish folk treat it like a nice imported beer. Like how we yanks treat carona or Heineken. Still though wouldn’t treat that time in Ireland for the world and I even found my new favoibwer there, smithwicks red ale.
Wheres the yuengling?
My man.
In my fridge at this moment, about the get drank. Right after I read my Bible.
And the rainier, Olympia, Pabst
like their reaction, But I love the girl with the red head and the movie t shirt, She is beautiful.
"Piss water." lol!
There was no long hair guy in this one. But their was the rockstar looking guy who was just as rad!
You can drink this one and smash it over someone's head. Rock on man!
You mean Irish Jesus 😂😂👊..that's what I call him
Budweiser is like fizzy water. Two Miller Genuine Drafts and I have an Excedrin headache.
I'll take Sam Adams: Boston Lager or Oktoberfest or
White Christmas or
Winter Lager
....any day of the week.
You should have them try Mexican craft beers!
Yuengling, Rolling Rock, Genesee, Miller High Life, Coors Original. There. Another tasting session right there.
Should be called "Irish People Tasting Cheap American Beer." We have so much better.
Amanda Wilkins thank you
Several folks have mentioned Yuengling , but they also skipped Michelob & PBR. There's also some nice regional non-craft beers like here in Cincinnati such as Burger, Schoenling, and Hudepohl. There's also Christian Moerlin.
feeding some poor unsuspecting bastard PBR is cruel and evil.
Bud, Coors and Miller are trash beers. Sams and Brooklyn are definitely the better options.
Not true to them they all liked the Budweiser they did not like the others at all.
Samuel Adam's is awful.
It's so bitter it tastes like vomit. This is the most honest beer review I've seen.
@@Yophillips3272 I disagree it actually tastes like beer unlike Miller or Coors. If you don't like beer then drink something else.
Sam Adams is great but blue moon is the nectar of the gods. The Sam Adams seasonals are worth trying.
I'm in love with the red head in the Jurassic Park shirt. She's the only reason I watch these and I'll watch videos of paint drying if it has her in it. Yummmmm.
I wanna see them react to German beer! You'd be in for a treat :D
“Light beer” is the reason Yellowstone needs to erupt.
I love that the red head calls Coors piss water. I grew up in Denver and that's what we called it. In the advertisements they always talked about how it is made from Rocky Mountain spring water so we called it Rocky Mountain piss water. She is dead on:) We also called Budweiser sweat.
Yuengling!! Enough said!
Guinness is the first beer I ever had and Guinness will be the last beer I ever have.
Guinness isn't beer,it's stout.
+Claire Kearns Guinness is a beer and it's style is stout
You are severely limiting yourself. Go out and try other stouts. Guiness is weak and flavorless by comparison.
Just because Guinness is only 4ish% doesn't mean it's any less of a good beer. I've made and drank dozens of different stouts. Guinness is still the old reliable (in Ireland anyway)
Where were the darks at. Shiner Bock needs a second or two to shine lol
We agree. Coors Light - fizzy water and sugar,
Yuengling lager. Best American beer.
When Monty Python did a show at the Hollywood Bowl they came out with a cooler of Fosters and tossed a few out into the audience (they came out talking like Aussies). They said American beer was "like making love in a canoe". Wait for it. "because it's F***king close to water".
I'm impressed Lolsly could tell every major American Beer Brand on this video.
Where’s the yuengling? Oldest American brewery and you completely over look it, eh? For shame.
The guy with the Frasier tee-shirt and his partner with the dyed black hair are just too cool for school. I guess in a country with a whopping 5 million inhabitants, they don't have a lot of competition. Their biggest city is the size of Tucson, Arizona. Wow!
Serious Peter suttcliffe vibes going in . Brave man
The best beer in the world is brewed by the almost 5000 craft brewers all across America.
This video shows only the mass produced tripe.
Glad most enjoyed the Samuel Adams. That's my second favorite beer
Samuel Adams is actually brewed in Cincinnati.
as an American I can tell you this. we prefer imports. lol
Norwich Bitters is my all time favorite.
They should try Irish Death made my Iron horse brewery or Octopus Ink made by Pike Place brewery. Both made in WA state.
Bud is nasty....period.
Coors goes bitter in about 2 min
We only drink Coors light because it’s a great way to stay hydrated!
I can't stand any of these beer's ! The only one of those I would take, if I had no choice, would be Sam Addams.. of the rest I would rather drink water..
I've noticed that Sam Adams always has a soapy taste at the end of a bottle.
Im just watching this to practice on my irish accent lol
Before Prohibition there were thousands (literally) of breweries in the US and every region was distinguished by local varieties of hops. These days the regional breweries ar eback, but the hop varieties are still struggling. There some though that really make a fine beer. The big sellers are all lagers - so heavy German influence, and, from my view point, rather bland. But, they make a good liquid for adding to chili.
Sam adams was the only respectable thing they gave um. This was like a highschool house party and everybody bought cheap crap.
Yea Drink beer for the High Quality! Then you can look down at every one because your classy lol.
If Ireland has a beer other than Guinness, I wouldn't know.
Murphy's, Smithwick's
American music is the worlds favorite
NOT BUD AND COORS!!!!
😱
IRISH FOLKS, IM SO SORRY!!!!
Budweiser is loved around the world haha
No Yuengling??? America’s oldest brewery???? From PA, the only state where you can go to any bar and say “I’ll have a lager” and it’ll always be a Yuengling Lager.
The problem with clear bottles like Miller's is that if exposed to the sun it will skunk the beer.
First guy was spot on.
As an American I have never been a fan of beer, I like Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
Brooklyn Brewery has the best beers! You should have given them Brooklyn's Saisons and IPA. Leather jacket would love those! Saisons 7.2% (called Sorachi Ace) and IPA comes in at 6.9% abv.
On the other hand we have their sour ale coming in at 5.8% abv and a great aftertaste.
Icehouse Tallboy .. super cold
Coors and Budweiser everywhere in Ireland (at least in the North), but can't be tempted to pay anything for those.
Like Miller much better, but not easy to find.
I kinda wanted them to try some Shiner
Yuengling and Shiner Bock if you want a good tasting high quantity production beer.
Irish people are awesome!!!
I love Coors, yet fully agree with everything they said about it.
The irony that American commercial beer was brewed and marketed by German and Irish-Americans lol
Awww.... America loves the Irish. Evan whilst they talk shite..... Thanks for the Guiness and U2!!!!
I think moonshine tasted better than most beers, it hurts less
Brooklyn makes a fuckin amazing Porter
Genesee Cream Ale has its fan base.
Where is Yuengling, where is Pabst? Original or blue ribbon. I don't think they are trying enough makers
all the best beer and music comes from Canada.,
Dudes gotta Frasier shirt..brilliant
Yer man in the leather jacket looks like Peter Sutcliffe, The Yorkshire Ripper
Leinenkugel, just like it says on my shirt. Welcome to the north woods. (Wisconsin)
I guess I was wrong thinking that Europeans drank real beer. I mean Brooklyn Lager and Sam Adams are about as real as a beer gets. They both use the traditional 4 ingredients of beer and nothing more. What they liked was a bunch of rice beers. Rice is an ingredient used to make every single cheap ass low quality beer in America. They must do the same thing in Ireland
Most American beers I hate plus nasty hangovers, but microbreweries can have some excellent beers as long that don't go over board on hops.
i like the girl with red hear
The reason why beers like bud light, coors light, miller light and other lights beers are so popular is because they are cheap as fuck and definitely not for their taste. You can get a 30 pack of bud light for $20
The only mass produced domestic beer I drink is PBR. It's cheap and it's actually pretty good. Everything else is unpalatable.
Coors light The college new to alcohol checklist. Nothing else... No one else drinks that. Budweiser is mainly found in my state but that's probably cuz it's from here
If any of them tried Bud Light their reaction would've been "This is beer?"
Bro this video is from 2016 but it looks retro..
Yuengling, fat tire, yellow hammer, and anything from Avondale Breweries should have been on here.
It's interesting i just started but I just started drinking using Hard liquors like Rum etc so beer is so light for me now I like moonshine whiskey and never tried bourbon before but beer is no for me it makes me burp to much I like the taste of alcohol I like the burn too of hard liquor
at least we have cold beer... damn euros and your warm beer lol
Why should we drink warm beer in Europe? Wired comment.
No Yuengling? That's a shame.
People don’t buy most of these beers because they’re good, they buy them because they’re cheap. There’s plenty of great American beer that you’ll never hear about simply because it’s expensive.
Where’s the beer we all shotgunned in college.....WE WANT NATTY LIGHT
BS, I've drank every foreign beer there is. Some great, some good, some fair, some bad. Just like American Beer.
Exactly why I drink Guinness!
I threw darts with a contingent of Irish folks working in Atlantic City in the 80's, as in fresh of the boat. They all drank bud and rarey slept. Correleation or Causation?
