Me too, and I have the fortune of a wonderful mother, but this song makes me cry for all those that don’t ( I know there are different interpretations of this song but imo it’s about a mother who is a source of pain for her child ). It is song with such heavy emotion and the way Till sings it makes it so painfully sad yet beautiful at the same time. I love this band.

He said that his childhood wasn't right at all; I guess the lyrics to "Mutter" aren't that far from the truth. Rammstein: their way of self-help :) And we are allowed to witness it

From what I’ve read, they all had difficult childhoods and less than happy relationships with their mothers. My own mother told me that if abortions were legal back in 1968, I wouldn’t be here. Then she laughed as if I would find what she said funny. There are certain things you don’t tell your kids, even if it is the truth. And then people around me wonder why I ended up with Borderline Personality Disorder. Who knows?
