Oh yeah you take such great care of your roses and hydrangea babies! I was thinking of cutting back my panicle hydrangeas too because the snow load tends to break the plant. Can't have that.

Thank you so much for watching. I’m really happy with how the beds came out. This is one of my favorite beds and can’t wait until it is in full bloom

Good morning garden friend! I want to say, your garden is gorgeous and I love the long videos of the garden. Watching and learning from you makes my heart happy. I have a question, wouldn’t your hydrangeas flourish much better if they were away from the house? They are so close and Laurel on garden answer speaks on the importance of space with hydrangeas. They will perform so much better if they were in the center of the garden bed. What do you think about moving them away from the house?

GM garden friend the strawberry vanilla hydrangeas root base is about 2 feet from the house. It blooms beautifully each year. The heat this year was so intense and I wasn’t able to stay on top of the watering which is part of the reason I’m entertaining a drip system. Thanks so much for watching and your support. Plus I love Garden Answer and have learned a lot from Laura and Aaron.
