my full list of the jumps i found out to reduce (if you are on a fresh file) also rolling has weird physics level 3: (-2 jumps) 1:18 you can roll here with the dualies by first doing a werid squid party thing while moving towards the other side then roll 2:00 remember that i said rolling has weird physics? well you can also reduce a jump here by going to the dashpad on the right at the end, then once you dash try aiming for that dashpad which leads to the final checkpoint level 4: (1- jump) 2:27 just do the same thing what i said about 1:18 level 13: (1- jump) 5:15 so basically you can throw a bomb at the left thing (idk what you call them) that drags you to it but you need to jump to throw that bomb far enough and it has rng level 23: 6:13: when you (without the higher jump) automatically jump out of the inkrail, use the dualies 1 or 2 times with the rolls 6:19 same here 6:24 same again, when you automatically jump forwards one of the pink cylinders, use the dualies roll for it to be easier instead of without it at the big cannon part you have to do the same like in 6:24. in conclusion its possible to beat splatoon 2 with only 25 jumps (with only doing the levels on a fresh save file) but i know one of you guys can reduce one jump too
Fun fact you dont actually need to use the dualies for level 3 this actually works for any weapon its just that you would need to be risky with the hero roller
I'm attempting a jumpless run to hopefully figure out how many jumps it takes to beat the game without resorting to weapons you don't have yet, I'll edit with my total once I'm done
I bought an elgato capture card to record mine. Theres probably cheaper alternatives out there, but elgato is the best/most trustworthy one in my opinion
It's not possible to beat splatoon jumpless. gusher gauntlet is a whole level about jumping and it's way to difficult to beat it. I made halfway but there's a jump that you can almost make it. Keyword ALMOST. No matter how fast you are you just miss it by a bit. The thing is it's only level 4. :/
Yeah I knew it would be impossible, but I wanted to at least get the least amount of junps I could, and even with the number I got, theres probably a lot I could have avoided
Gusher gauntlet is so hard. The first jump seems impossible but when you go at full speed and ink the other side and at full speed you can make it but losing a smidge of speed kills you. Wish I could I beat the whole level.

idk if this was already discorvered but the part with the dualies you can also do it with the hero shot
and the first boss also requires a jump so you would have 5 out of world 1
