Ep. 9: Camping at Sandgat (Northern Cape) / Vanderkloof dam overflowing close up footage

Welcome to Episode 9
I traveled to the Northern Cape to bring you this video. The camp site I stayed at is called Sandgat and it is near the Vanderkloof dam. It is a beautiful camp site on the banks of the Orange river. From the camp site you can see the dam wall and even hear the water overflowing into the Orange river.
The caravan stands are very spacious and electricity points are available.
There is no clean drinking water on tap, because they pump all their water directly from the river. You must take your own clean drinking water and toilet paper or buy it from the shop.
If you don't mind showering in light brown river water then you will enjoy Sandgat.
I also include close up footage of the Vanderkloof dam which is currently overflowing.
