I’ve been a Duran Duran fan since 1984 and I am beginning to really like Maneskin because of their extremely high energy when playing live. All the guys are great but Victoria just stands out. She’s not just beauty she can really play and with passion. Congratulations on this collaboration!

Of course she knows, she's not stupid. The Maneskins have earned the respect of their older colleagues. To quote Tina Weymouth, she evidently knows the history of Talking Heads, today especially with the internet you can discover many more artists from the past and present,

For sure John chose "Psycho Killer" after meeting Vick. She said she's hugely honoured playing bass with John and DD on a TH song.
...oh she understands, why wouldn't she?? Same as they understand getting her is a very good marketing move for them, she being part of the most successful rock band right now!! Collaboration is an exchange. Nobody does it for the glory!!

Apparently, Sra. Weymouth was roped into the band : they needed a bassest & being the drummer's S.O. in the loft ( which had a record player for 45s - can't remember what discs she learnt from(?))helped .
