It’s like a bunch of different developers were working on Kuki’s kit separately, and when they came together to compare notes, they noticed that they got no synergy or idea about what to do, so they said “fuck it” and mushed it all together, because they ran out of time.
They should have made her skill dmg based on her HP and her skill should have buffed charged attack dmg. Also her scalings should have been much better.
It's like they went "hmm...let's test this and---oh, time to release her already? Alright. Put her up. Players will give us lodsamoney for her anyway. Why spend extra time fixing her kit?"

What do you call bad healing. Mine is healing 5.4K a tick and with 2 hydro in a group it goes up to 6.5k. I would say those are good heals. Yeah she is not like my Kokomoi who heals 10k per tick but overall Kuki does well.
Cant forget the fact i saw someone on tiktok showcasing their c6 shinobu, good weapons, good artifacts, op supports, food buffs, good crit ratio... And managed to hit only 10k somehow.
People just don't build her as intended. I already expected her to have miniscule amount of damage since she's mostly a healer so I didn't really felt disappointed (in terms of damage). As a healer, she's consistent at the very least. The only thing that disappoints me is that her burst doesn't do anything. It would've been okay if her burst does some emergency healing like jean, barbara or even hu tao.
@@sweetillusions5495 besides that, if her burst does an emergency heal for the whole team or atleast for herself below 50% she'd be an good healer for electro teams atleast. I mean, high damage feels really reaally good but since most of her kit intends to support the team, she is a support and atleast they could have done a better job making her one.
Everyone build her wrong, she aint a healer, her healing is just bonus, her purpose is to be the best elemental reaction driver. I made her reach 600 in EM, I dont care about her hp at all. My team is xingqiu, bennet and xiangling as support and kuki as the main dps, and they kill all enemies even faster than my 5 stars team, trust me dont look at her single damage, she is a team player, and you will be amaze!

Cause she does nothing for that team, the reason nobody mentions it usually is because it's only a lore team, not an actual good team, she's a dead slot for that team
You can use literally anyone to 4th slot. I would rather use xingqiu, bennet, diona or even thoma (c6 give 15% dmg buff) or any non geo anemo catalyst thrilling tales user. For that team to get crystalize/shield geo resonance, then just use nobless on them for same 20% atk result. Note: my gorou is using 4 pc exile. Those reduce gorou and itto required er and just feel so comfy to always get burst on time in abyss.

I suggest the 3* Dark Iron Sword with EM main stat and electro reactions boost skill. It's the sword you get from that cook in Liyue Harbour. There's only one of it in the game, the rarest weapon in Genshin Impact.
Been playing since launch and this is the first healer I like. I always wanted a healer with 100% uptime on an E for regen and a Q that just did damage. Glad we finally have one and she looks dope.
@@0kuuhakublank0 I wouldn't hate that. The ult feels pretty weak (lvl 62, lvl 4 talent, HP/electro/heal bonus). When she's past 80+ascended I'll look at getting an HP/electro/crit set to see if it feels better.

Honestly, I think Kuki is a character who will shine & have more purpose later in the game. Her weird split scaling seems to be either a mistake, or something that will matter later on. She might be ahead of her time. I like her for my Hu tao, zhongli, xingqui team. I substitute her for rosaria just to give Hu tao extra healing if her health gets a little too low.

for shinobu's burst, if they simply added a mechanic similar to barb's burst ("panic button" healing) she'd be almost 100% fine as a support. her healing is pretty good with relatively low investment, and she takes the hp goblets we all hate to see. I get her healing 3.5k at talent level 8 with hp/hp/hb and only like 30k total hp (her goblet isn't maxed) and 2pc healing bonus/2pc wanderers. something I haven't seen anyone mention is that shinobu's normal attack scaling is rather good (the total dmg per string looks lower due to her attack string only having 4 hits instead of the usual 5, but her actual hit for hit scaling is pretty decent), and being electro she can easily proc superconduct, not to mention her skill can proc the 4pc pale flame. so yeah, phys dps is definitely viable
shes fairly good in the early game since the dvalin fight needs to break the shield pretty quickly and shes good at applying electro maybe a little too much because ive had experience with her stealing all the reactions and with her skill blowing up the explosive barrels

Rly unfortunate that Tenacity passive doesn't stack, so she can't work with Zhongli who I have on my Itto team. Therefore, I suggest that if u DO have Zhongli with Itto and Kuki, give Kuki Noblesse and some ER (like Fav Sword) to support a lot better
@@harryvpn1462 for for phase one. Diluc, ninnguang, Zhongli, and Bennett. Phase two was my overworld team of yelan, raiden, kazuha, and kokomi. I feel like floor 12 was more of a dps check this time around.

Diona was on Yae's banner and she makes no sense. Thoma at least feels great with on field Yae. Of all the characters coming out right now, I think Chongyun was just "due to come" and literally just fits with Kuki. It's for new players. He doesn't fit with Yae/Kokomi/Yelan/Venti. Raiden/Ayato/Xiao needed 4stars that also worked to sell their catalyst/bow co-banners. Afterwards, it's Klee/Heizou/Yoimiya, who can't use him, and Kazuha, who doesn't want him since Xinyan is being advertised instead who fits the "less sales" character. Meanwhile, Chongyun and Kuki together literally make a self efficient 2 man physical squad.
Sayu, kuki, barara, and a forth of your choice is a solid idea imo Its a shame shes split all over the place causing her abilities to meh out, but she does do what i want in a team, a great off feild electro applyer sp i tend to focus on em more the anything,
@@harryvpn1462 is a very casual game so its a fun one, no need to hate, but my logic is sayu rolling takes up a lot of time so you want off-feild application so with both sayu and kuki as a em build you get some good reactions, and i love a taser base since thats the one reaction that keeps the elements applied so the forth one can be what ever you need at the time pretty easily weather that be a pyro/cryo unit, a shield unit, or a bow user (etc.), (same can be said with the random element sayu may grab atm)
I don't think she's Thoma tier? But she's definitely feels very incomplete unit. From what I understand, Thoma's main problem is what made him useful is behind a high cost burst. Shinobu at least has benefit of healing and electro application almost 100% of the time while in the team.
@@atiredblob Thoma tier is S tier character design with underwhelming skill design, to be clear. But yeah that's one of his problems. Also he's HP based but scales atk on ascension, doesn't do a lot of dmg even if you try, so he's basically just a shielder that requires normal attacks to build the shield (because base shield is almost non-existent). So he only works with normal attackers And his pyro application is slow. Ultimately he doesn't do much of anything, with high burst cost (which is fine, just stack ER. And it's useful with raiden... But why use him with raiden)
@@atiredblob she is thoma tier. Like any 4* inazuma character, she just designed to do one job, spesific. But they just sucks so much at it. Thoma only designed to be shieldbot and apply pyro. But her shield so thin at start & need long ass time and cant even be stacked by charged atk, any floor 12 boss atk will just break it in one hit. Also for that shield you need 80 energy, but hoyo just give him bad energy gen on 12 sec E cooldown cus hoyo just hate him or something. And then hoyo just decide to make him steals vapes from hutao, the character he is supposed to be her spesific support. Like imagine gorou and sara somehow reduce dmg for your itto and raiden, and just give weak shield as a return. That is messed up. Kuki job is to heal but it is so bad. She need to stab herself every 15 sec to do it. You can only heal team one by one with her. She doesnt even have burst heals like sayu and barbara have. Also any other character is just better at applying electro than her but have other stuff better for abyss timer like dmg & energy. Fischl, beidou, raiden, etc. Sure kuki can use tenacity, but literally anyone can use nobless for same 20% atk result. Both cant do anything other than that. Cant deal dmg, cant battery energy, cant carry thrilling tales book, cant buff stats, or any other support utility.
@@atiredblob to be frank, the only reason why she’s not Thoma tier is because one, dendro is right around the corner, and two, she can actually function as a dps, albeit fairly copium, as shown by sevy in one of her recent videos. Thoma unfortunately is mostly a lost cause in both support & dps/sub-dps. Which sucks, because his resistance to interruption mechanic of his was really cool. But that’s my 2 cents I guess.

In my party I always have a healer sub heal main shield buffer and a dps I doubt shinobu will die cuz i keep it at red zone. Im mean i use hu tao so Red zone is just... Eh. Especially corrosion dmg

I made her my main dps, gave her 450 EM put her with xingqiu, chongyun and bennet as support, they are unstoppable

Try Xiangling instead of Chongyun to make it national team. Her Overload does 12k+ with that high of an em.

Diona was on Yae's banner and she makes no sense. Thoma at least feels great with on field Yae.
Of all the characters coming out right now, I think Chongyun was just "due to come" and literally just fits with Kuki. It's for new players. He doesn't fit with Yae/Kokomi/Yelan/Venti. Raiden/Ayato/Xiao needed 4stars that also worked to sell their catalyst/bow co-banners. Afterwards, it's Klee/Heizou/Yoimiya, who can't use him, and Kazuha, who doesn't want him since Xinyan is being advertised instead who fits the "less sales" character.
Meanwhile, Chongyun and Kuki together literally make a self efficient 2 man physical squad.
Sayu, kuki, barara, and a forth of your choice is a solid idea imo
Its a shame shes split all over the place causing her abilities to meh out, but she does do what i want in a team, a great off feild electro applyer sp i tend to focus on em more the anything,
I think EM build is the solid middle ground, she still can heal , some good reaction damage, and easy too build without care about crit

@@harryvpn1462 is a very casual game so its a fun one, no need to hate, but my logic is sayu rolling takes up a lot of time so you want off-feild application so with both sayu and kuki as a em build you get some good reactions, and i love a taser base since thats the one reaction that keeps the elements applied so the forth one can be what ever you need at the time pretty easily weather that be a pyro/cryo unit, a shield unit, or a bow user (etc.), (same can be said with the random element sayu may grab atm)

I will say, playing her with xinyan is kinda fun. Slap their E skills on Sayu and you have a little bowling ball of boom
I don't think she's Thoma tier? But she's definitely feels very incomplete unit. From what I understand, Thoma's main problem is what made him useful is behind a high cost burst. Shinobu at least has benefit of healing and electro application almost 100% of the time while in the team.
@@atiredblob Thoma tier is S tier character design with underwhelming skill design, to be clear.
But yeah that's one of his problems. Also he's HP based but scales atk on ascension, doesn't do a lot of dmg even if you try, so he's basically just a shielder that requires normal attacks to build the shield (because base shield is almost non-existent). So he only works with normal attackers
And his pyro application is slow.
Ultimately he doesn't do much of anything, with high burst cost (which is fine, just stack ER. And it's useful with raiden... But why use him with raiden)
@@atiredblob she is thoma tier. Like any 4* inazuma character, she just designed to do one job, spesific. But they just sucks so much at it.
Thoma only designed to be shieldbot and apply pyro. But her shield so thin at start & need long ass time and cant even be stacked by charged atk, any floor 12 boss atk will just break it in one hit. Also for that shield you need 80 energy, but hoyo just give him bad energy gen on 12 sec E cooldown cus hoyo just hate him or something.
And then hoyo just decide to make him steals vapes from hutao, the character he is supposed to be her spesific support. Like imagine gorou and sara somehow reduce dmg for your itto and raiden, and just give weak shield as a return. That is messed up.
Kuki job is to heal but it is so bad. She need to stab herself every 15 sec to do it. You can only heal team one by one with her. She doesnt even have burst heals like sayu and barbara have. Also any other character is just better at applying electro than her but have other stuff better for abyss timer like dmg & energy. Fischl, beidou, raiden, etc. Sure kuki can use tenacity, but literally anyone can use nobless for same 20% atk result.
Both cant do anything other than that. Cant deal dmg, cant battery energy, cant carry thrilling tales book, cant buff stats, or any other support utility.
@@atiredblob to be frank, the only reason why she’s not Thoma tier is because one, dendro is right around the corner, and two, she can actually function as a dps, albeit fairly copium, as shown by sevy in one of her recent videos. Thoma unfortunately is mostly a lost cause in both support & dps/sub-dps. Which sucks, because his resistance to interruption mechanic of his was really cool. But that’s my 2 cents I guess.
@@tipidpn3559 I don't really see her as healer focused tho. For me she's like Sayu than Thoma. We're just arguing small details here, my point is simply Shinobu is less frustrating to use than Thoma which meta-wise, they both bring nothing new compared to other 4-stars, that's it

I hava DPS kuki her skill hits ok 3500 to 4500 on use then 1500 after that burst hits ok and auto hits for 4500 crit 2000plus average
all we need is a hitcount boss for her to work
Just use HP HP HB with EM weapon. Don't bother with any other subs but ER, EM, and HP%
Done.
Actually balancing out em and hp is better

I always have a healer sub heal main shield buffer and a dps
I doubt shinobu will die cuz i keep it at red zone.
Im mean i use hu tao so Red zone is just... Eh. Especially corrosion dmg

Treat her like a Razor that can heal. Build her as a physical dps with Bennet
